Great place to eat and relax. Very enjoyable this is why I am a regular here for the last 20 years. At one time they had free wifi because cell phone service was terrible inside the restaurant. Now for some reason they won't let us connect to the wifi. I wish they would fix

"It's okay if you fall apart, sometimes "Tacos fall apart, & we still love them." - El Arroyo Sign ?❤️ #TexMex #ComfortFood #HoustonEatsA coworker & I decided to come here for lunch because we were craving Tex-Mex. First-hand, the chips were hot & fresh with the salsa. As a perfect blend of spices, it was delicious. Fran, our server, was exceptionally talented, vibrant, & delightful with an infectious exuberance of charm. ?I ordered the Cabo salad and suffice it to say, the portions were generous, with the combination of beef/chicken amazingly cooked to perfection. The customer service, experience, & atmosphere were greatly appreciated. ?In short, Iguan Joe's highlights traditional Tex-Mex favorites coupled with fast & best-in-class service. With amazing offerings of small plates, comfort food, & happy hour specials, this is your go-to spot. ??? #Houston #Foodie #Yum"

Not my cup of tea! Waitress was friendly, but they sat us in the middle between the bar and the booths. You know it’s not good Mexican food if there aren’t any Mexicans eating there. No spicy salsa at all. They went back there and chopped a habanero in their regular salsa.Kid-friendliness: They have a playground for the kiddos and a very large patio.

Fire whoever is making these flour bed comforter tortillas and hire an old Mexican women that makes the ones you can almost see through. Other than that, the food is ok..

Food was good. Service was exceptional. The restaurant is just too congested. too many tables packed in together. You can barely get out of your table without bumping into or disturbing the people sitting behind you.

While the food is delicious as always and i have never had trouble with the service. The parking lot is troublesome as it’s very worn out and bumpy, in fact some people park terribly as they can’t even see the parking lines and the restaurant gets unbelievably overcrowded on the weekends so that doesn’t help.Prices for meals can be atrocious and every time my family orders, it comes uo to $100, yet they can’t afford to move closer to montbelvieu as mont belvieu is getting like 20 different restaurants. If you thought the parking was bad, fhe employee’s parking is even worse. It’s in a shaddy location in front of the 8 motel on 146, i actually applied to work here but when i found out the parking situation, i unfortunately turned down the job.
