I had a great experience with OneMain. The entire loan process was smooth and hassle-free. The application was straightforward, and I appreciated the transparency in terms of fees and interest rates—no hidden charges, which is something you don’t always find. Daniela and the team were incredibly responsive and helpful, addressing all my questions and concerns promptly.

I opened a loan here and it was so smooth and easy, it was amazing. So great, that I referred a family member. She was also preapproved and provided all documentation. They did a terrible job. She constantly had to follow up, they requested document after document, we would submit them, no one ever confirmed receiving the documents, so we called, they forgot to look at it. They apologized, all was well. It was just one thing after the next to get her loan approved. The guy she worked with was terrible about calling her back, following up after submitting documents, and just in general took something that should have been very easy and simple, and made it soooo overly complicated. I wish she had gotten the experience I received on my visit. In any event, we will search elsewhere for loans in the future, I would recommend others do the same for your own sanity! Don’t let a company treat you this way, YOU are the customer, and with the amount of interest you’ll pay on one of these loans, you should be treated better in my opinion. We ended up using Mariner on Garth, much more professional and prompt.

Don't do this!!! We got a loan for $6000. a couple years ago. Been paying over $4000. a year back STILL not paid off. We've over double paid back the loan. Huge rip off

Very quick, simple and thorough. Process was explained well, steps were explained ahead of time. I was told what to expect. They even walked through the paperwork online with me, made the process painless. Highly recommend.

Daniela was not helpful at all... both my mom and I applied online and got approved even with collateral. Submitted all documents to then get a call stating loan was denied... no explanation... would never recommend this financial institution to anyone.
