Dishonest. They tell you one price over the phone and over email, and then add $3,999 to the price after you drive to the dealership. They lie and tell you it's "optional aftermarket add on's that they add to every car they sell." The best part is that the sales guy tried to tell me he'd "throw in a bedliner." Turns out, the bedliner was supposed to be part of the lame $3,999 aftermarket add on package they force you into. So no, he wasn't throwing in a single thing. Also nobody wants the junk you claim is an add on. Especially the etched windows. So just stop with that nonsense. They are dishonest. Do NOT agree to this extra cost. Insist that it's removed and if they won't, go somewhere else. Also they only gave me one key, after trying to say they "gave it to me in a white envelope." They did not. Then I've had to ask for the second key multiple times and have yet to receive it. They ate and spilled food in the drivers seat, and dirtied my seats while installing the bedliner. This was after they gave me the truck dirty from the get go. What a joke. Mr Kimbrough save yourself the time I don't want to hear your BS reply to my review. Do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere.

Buyers BEWARE!!! This dealership adds $3,995 to every car as a bogus add on called "Other Aftermarkets". You don't get any physical adds , it's a pure profit markup and craftily deceptive . You won't see it until the very end when you pay. The number is NOT in the price of your car until the final paperwork. I caught it after I left and they were closed. The salesman actually said "we add that to every car" I complained but they said too bad you signed. I appealed to S Kimbrough , manager, he never responded because he knows and cares less. STAY AWAY !!!!

I was supposed to have my tires rotated and air pressures equalized, but to tire pressures were exactly the same and in the same location. They take too long to do a normal service and the waiting area is a mess.

Prices shown on used vehicles don't include their "financed aftermarkets" or "reconditioning" fees of SEVERAL thousand dollars. They won't tell you about these add on fees until it is time to pay and then the reason for the fees will change several times if you really question them. Deceitful business. Stay away.

Let me start at the beginning. We brought in our car 1 month ago on 6/20/23 to have a list of things we wanted to have checked out. Tim was our advisor. He said it should be a couple weeks given the list we gave him. One of the things to check was the A/C. Now let me tell you that prior to bringing the car in there was some liquid that was spilled on the A/C-radio control panel so that was not working. So there was no way to control the A/C at all. Tim said that part was discontinued through Buick. He said to Austin Radio and Speedometer downtown to have the A/C/Radio control head control panel cleaned and repaired. We called that place and they said since the spill was done 2 months ago that the whole panel needed to be replaced and that is what we did all in the same day of picking up our car today 7/20/23. We got the control panel part and had it installed and everything comes on but the A/C IS NOT BLOWING COLD! Now on the invoice it says 3.5 hours of labor to replace the condenser and evac, dye check and charged the system. Total labor and parts $577.50. It even says "test drove to confirm repair" on the invoice Job 12 on page 3 and 4. Yes I know you can't tell if its working if the control panel is not working but why say its fixed when you can't turn it on to begin with?? So my point being is that we were told it was fixed and charged for a fixed and working A/C and it is NOT WORKING. It blows only hot air! Joe the service manager, when we came back the 2nd time said "that how can we fix the A/C if you can't turn it on?" Also he even told me" why are you rolling your eyes?" We just spent $6148.67 there and took it there because we were under the impression that the service department that is supposed to have CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS and have most of the parts there plus the car was purchased there before it became BigStar. When we got the car back the inside had black marks on the inside door panel, some brown dried up liquid on the dash and driver door and dusty on inside. There was still plastic stuck to outside door and roof as well. I am very disappointed in the service and the way I was treated. I was also told by Joe that anything else that needed to be done to the A/C I would have to come out of pocket for. I was never called and asked if i wanted the leaking condenser fixed. I only told Tim I wanted the A/C working. If the A/C couldn't be fixed while the controls were not working then why attempt to fix the A/C without first the controls working??? Also Tim promised us for 2 weeks that it would be done in 1 or 2 days that it would be ready when obviously he had no time table on when it would be fixed and it still is not fixed for what I brought it in for. I am asking for a refund of the $577.50 so I can take my car and get the job done the correct way No refund!

My wife and I were in the market for a second vehicle. My wife was very nervous going in to see this vehicle because of the last bad encounters at dealerships being very pushy. I was contacted by a sales consultant by the name of Shaun Holmes, set an appointment for later in the afternoon. Went down met with Shaun, he showed us the car we inquired about took on a test drive and he sold us, not only the vehicle but our business to make us want to return in the near future to purchase again from this dealership.

No return calls is the reason I opted to have it served it elsewhere. Victoria Villarreal never responded to my calls and numerous voicemails. When I called the service desk's via the main number they had me on hold for 45 minutes and then hung up on me. When I arrived Service Advisors were observed fraternizing with the techs, one was even on his phone probably using social media. You think their employees would be more professional since they work at a reputable dealership but this is not the case.

After I had inquired about this truck for two weeks. I got a call that the new 2024 GMC 2500 ultimate was in. My wife and I went to go look at the truck and went to talk to the salesperson to start the buying process. They checked my credit after that I was told that the price had increased 10k because it had just arrived; And that they had two more buyers waiting to buy it. After I was told the price was 95k before I arrived to the dealer. Very disappointed in the way they get their clients in and waste our time. I did not purchase the truck for 10k over asking price when the online price when it was 95k and they were asking 105k I thought that was crazy and I was being taking advantage of. I have purchased several vehicles before and by far this dealership is one of the worst I been. Do not do business with this dealer very dishonest and unprofessional.

I have recently been interested in purchasing a new GMC truck. Utilizing the GMC build option on the internet, my new vehicle was designed and priced with MSRP. Utilizing this information, Big Star was contacted with the request, here's the online build with MSRP, what will you sell it for? After a few back and forth emails with Ezequiel, I finally get the sales manages email. Same request sent to him with copy of GMC build. I finally get a response from sales manager Dexter "Unfortunately, I cannot give you exact pricing on a build until the vehicle arrives." I find his answer strange due to the fact I order things all time with pricing and long delivery. Guess that's how new car sales work these days. Now today I get email from General Manager "I want to make sure that my team and I are helping you find the perfect vehicle, so please let us know if there is anything specific we can help you with." Guessing Big Star employees don't talk to each other or need to make a sale.

Updating my review: I was mistaken about the torquing of the lug nuts. The impact uses a torque limiter. I requested that they use a torque wrench to true the lug nuts and they did. I will return, and next time I hope that they get the IT support they need in case the WAN goes down.

I have bought 2 vehicles from this dealership. Sales & service had always been great, but now the service department is sub-par to get repairs for the past 8 months or so. Can't get a timely appointment, then has a 72 hr time frame just to diagnose the issue that does not include the actual repair. Makes me hesitant to purchase my next vehicle here

0 stars. It would not let me do zero stars! My tailgate was stolen. I went to Bigstar GMC and ordered a replacement. Told them is was stolen. Three weeks later, the shell came in and was not painted. Got it painted THREE WEEKS LATER and none of the parts were there to put it together. Ordered MORE parts. $2200 dollars and six weeks later, No tailgate or parts. Still trying to get it. I asked the service department to assemble because they did not know if we had everything or not. NO CAN DO!!! It will cost me another $500 to assemble it!!! Are you F$%kin kidding me. It is still sitting at Bigstar GMC and they are still not sure if they have all the parts. I went to wait to talk to the service manager. 3 hours later he was still busy. After three weeks of leaving messages, he never responded. His name was Charlie. I have to do that on my own. How the Hell am I going to put it together when the experts can't or won't even do it. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!
