Flying J Travel Center in Baytown is a large and secure travel stop with clean fuel islands, a well-stocked store, and clean restrooms. It offers a very large selection of snacks, treats, drinks, and souvenirs. The location provides craveable food like pizza, wings, breakfast sandwiches, and home style meals, alongside a Denny's. Amenities for professional drivers include overnight parking, reservable showers, laundry, and Wi-Fi. The customer service and crew are noted as friendly and polite, with some staff providing exceptionally good service. The area is large with many parking spaces, and security patrols regularly. Some note the ATM fee is considered too high. It is generally a nice store for a quick stop or a restful break.
Service not so good. When I was there they ran out of coffee and they refused to refill it. So odd. I asked. They looked around and did nothing. They did not even ask a manager or anything.

Absolutely no respect for drivers. No showers at night and no clean and stocked bathrooms. I have been driving over 30 years and ALL truck stops don't care for drivers just traveling public.
