Last time I came I brought 3 pairs of shoes. Nike, Reebok, and Vans. All three were in good condition and cute. Didn’t take in a single pair. Today I saw these dirty converse. Ridiculous because supposedly they don’t take shoes or clothes in bad condition but they take these nasty converse.

It’s always great when a resale shop charges more than what the original seller was charging. I love this store but the prices are ridiculous.

I have purchased and also sold items at this location. Today I must say was the worst experience. There was a customer that arrived before me with a large box of clothing and the two employees behind the counter saw her struggling and just watched her. I asked the employees if they could assist her because they were in taking the clothing. The atmosphere was horrible. I asked if something was wrong and that was why they were so unfriendly. One of the young ladies said “I can’t speak for them, but I am hung over from last night”. ? Way to go Plato’s Closet. At least she was honest.

attempting to sell your clothes here is a waste of time. I have never made more than $10 and on my last trip with FOUR bags full of clothes and shoes, they bought one item for $4. The board clearly stated they needed plus size clothes which all of my clothes were, and that they needed casual shoes which I had at least 5 pairs of CASUAL ones. But the one they took is a $20 pair of cowgirl boots for $4. Very casual. Also stated they needed shorts and I had a pair of plus size never worn no stain hello kitty shorts and they didn’t even take those. Waste of time.

I went in to sell a bunch of clothes..while I waited I found something I wanted. They took 4 of my items, I took 1 of theirs, and it still cost me money. They are a ripoff, they took 4 pieces of clothing and gave me $8. I bought 1 shirt and it cost me $8. plus tax. I had real nice things, better then dome stuff I saw on the rack, but they only want the trendy names.Never going back there again.
