I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Stepping Stones. I trusted them to provide a safe, caring environment for my 2-year-old, but they completely failed to meet even basic expectations.
From the start, it felt as though they weren’t prepared to handle younger children, and their lack of patience and support was evident. They labeled my child as “immature” and “childish”—which is ironic and inappropriate, considering he’s just 2 years old! Instead of nurturing his development, they seemed to expect him to behave far beyond his age.
The most disturbing part of our experience, however, was their discriminatory attitude. They referred to my son as “kids like him,” which felt hurtful and racist. I was appalled by this lack of professionalism and sensitivity, and it made me very uncomfortable having my child in an environment where he wasn’t respected or valued.
If you’re looking for a genuinely caring and supportive Christian environment for your little ones, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
