The process was super straightforward—just brought in my gently used items, and they looked through everything pretty quickly. The staff was friendly and explained how it all worked. I appreciated that they were honest about what they could take and offered a fair price for the items they accepted. It felt good to declutter and get a little cash back while knowing the stuff will be reused. I’ll definitely be coming back with more!”

Keep in mind that these stores only accept clean, trending clothes from certain brands that the younger demographic actually buys. That’s not the employees’ choice, they’re simply following instructions from higher ups . They also typically don’t take formal wear, and staff will tell you that when you turn in your clothes. Walking in with dress clothes and expecting a payout will only lead to disappointment, and complaining to the staff won’t change that, Mr. or Mrs. Karen.

Plenty of people claim their clothes are “practically brand new,” yet when staff checks, they find stains on the inside or other areas. Who’s going to buy that? If your items don’t meet the store’s standards, it’s not personal it’s policy.

Retail workers already deal with enough nonsense on the job. Show them the same respect you expect in return. Before you snap at an employee, ask yourself, how would you feel in their shoes?

If this hurts your feelings, take it as a reality check.. the whole world doesn’t revolve around you :)”

“Highly recommend 2nd to New for anyone in the la Porte area that likes antiquing! A lot of interesting stuff to look at there and my sister and I were able to but some Stray Kids stuff (they have kpop photocards, albums, merch, etc) so it was an awesome experience :)
Mary and Gloria were so kind and they have tracks and prayer requests open for everyone. The whole store honors God so well and evidently and you can feel the love from the moment you step in!”
