If I could leave less than a start I would made a order for pick up get there right at a hour ask if it’s ready no it’s not then wait another 20 minutes for them to tell me that someone must of picked the other up before they could pull it yet my order should of already been ready pissed is understatement when the closest is a hour away

While very nice, the staff here was quick to push me off to the Geek Squad help desk to answer questions I had about a recent purchase. After waiting at the Geek Squad desk, the sweet girl who helped me simply googled how to solve my problem. She then wrote down what she found and gave it to me. Even though I could've done that myself, what she gave me was completely incorrect. After returning home, I fixed the issue myself by trying different 'settings' adjustments. I just don't understand what happened to try customer service. I guess I'm getting old...

I have been a committed Total Tech member at Best Buy from the beginning, but recent changes in their policy have left me deeply dissatisfied. My latest experience exemplifies the issue: I purchased a blender for $112, but when it turned out to be defective, I faced an unexpected and unreasonable financial loss.Upon returning the blender, I was only refunded $79, despite the original purchase price of $112. This meant that to exchange the defective item for an identical new blender, I had to effectively pay an additional 30% of the original cost. This was a significant and unwelcome surprise, as the policy was not clearly communicated to me when I renewed my contract. In the past, such exchanges, especially for defective items under warranty, did not incur any extra cost. This new policy of not providing full refunds on returned items, thereby forcing customers to pay extra for an exchange of the same product, feels unfair and diminishes the value of being a Total Tech member. It has severely impacted my trust in Best Buy, making me reconsider my decision to purchase expensive items like the $10,000 worth of TVs and a $1,500 drone I recently bought. The thought of facing similar situations with these high-value items is worrying, to say the least. In conclusion, this change in policy not only causes financial inconvenience but also raises serious concerns about the benefits of the Total Tech membership. It discourages me from future purchases at Best Buy, a sentiment I never anticipated having as a loyal customer. I urge Best Buy to revisit these policy changes and prioritize clear communication and fairness in their customer service approach.

Store clerk in Customer Service Returns refused to accept a return on ink cartridge that had never been opened with receipt and purchased only hours earlier. Accidentally picked up wrong cartridge number. This rating is on the store policy.

Sales associates were knowledgeable, courteous, and willing to help. None of the sales associates were pushy. We looked and researched one day, then went back the next and purchased the next.

Best Buy claims that they recycle batteries. I’ve been doing it for years, but this is the conversation I had with an employee:Me: Is this where I can drop off a battery to be recycled?Employee: What kind of battery is it? (Fair question as I don’t expect them to recycle car batteries)Me: It’s a battery from a UPS.Employee: What’s a UPS? (If you have to ask this, then you probably shouldn’t be working at Best Buy)Me: It’s an Uninterruptible Power Source that you plug your computer into.Employee: Ohhhh…we don’t accept computer batteries (What?!?!?).Me: It’s not a computer battery and I’ve never had this issue dropping off these types of batteries before. She finally accepted the battery to be recycled. Two things: 1. Either Best Buy accepts electronic related batteries for recycling or not. Please make up your mind. 2. Maybe this was an issue of a lack of training, so maybe that should be addressed.
