I strongly advise against using Classic Kia. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare. My car sat in their possession for three months, and the process was riddled with incompetence and poor communication.
Initially, we were told a specific part needed replacement and quoted over $2,000. When we asked for the part details to order it ourselves, reaching Sandra was nearly impossible—multiple calls went unanswered, and callbacks were rare. When we finally received the part information, my spouse confirmed several times that it was correct because the part was non-returnable. They assured us it was right. It wasn’t. We ended up paying for a part we didn’t need, and Classic Kia expected us to absorb that cost.
Then came part number two—also not the full solution. Eventually, they had to call in an engineer. Throughout this ordeal, we repeatedly requested updates from Sandra, but communication was virtually nonexistent. This wasn’t an isolated incident; based on prior experiences, poor follow-up seems to be the norm.
When the engineer finally diagnosed the issue and gave my spouse a quote, I asked twice for an itemized bill before pickup so I could review it—given the thousands we were about to spend, plus the wasted money on the wrong part. I never received that bill before pickup day.
Past service at Classic Kia was mediocre at best, but this experience was unacceptable. Driving to Silsbee feels far less painful than ever dealing with Classic Kia again. They will not get another dime of my business.
