Julius in the shoe department was extremely helpful and transparent, and he took the time to make sure that I chose the right pair of shoes for my specific needs. I really appreciated his knowledge and patience.
I’m giving four stars instead of five because the in store prices didn’t match the online price. When I asked about it, I was told Dicks doesn’t price match, which is a bit disappointing.
Overall, great customer service, but the price discrepancy is something to be aware of.

I'm so impressed with the company Dicks Sporting Good. I recently tried to order a Sanders jersey from NFL shop, or so I thought. My money was taken and the lied about the delivery. I called Dicks and they told me I can come in store and order my Jersey. I didn't and my Jersey came Sunday and it's fabulous. From now on all my NFL gear will be bought through Dicks Sporting Goods, they make sure everything is done correctly. Thanks again for showing me a safe and secure way of purchasing goods.

They have a nice selection of sporting goods. Shoe department is a bit slow due to low staffing. Expect to be there a while, especially if other groups of people are present. I had to return shoes and that process went very well. I am happy with this Dicks besides the wait time for shoes.

I was in the Beaumont, TX store this morning, shopping I asked the Manager on duty why no one was speaking (7) people employees walked by like I was invisible. She (Shana) said it's NOT our policy to speak to our customers, so I walked to the counter to be checked out, and decided not to purchase anything. I left my things with the checker. Whether you know it or not, I am your paycheck; without me, the customer, you don't have a job!!

I got mary over the phone today. Hoping they had the basketball shoes my son wanted. She looked & looked & even went on the computer to look. She was so so nice & so helpful. There's not many people in this world like her. Thank you Mary!

I called ahead of time twice to make sure a cup was put aside for me. I called before i made the ride and while half way there. It was confirmed twice that it was on hold for me with my name and i drove 2 hours just to have an employee sell it to someone else in front of me. No one apologized and made it seem like it was my fault they sold it. Terrible experience over all but above all a waste of 4 hours of my life. Management did nothing to help the situation.

Went in for to get my granddaughter a tennis racket I pick one out took it up front and it was priced a hundred more than I needed to spend. So the cashier asked me if I'd like to have someone help me I said yes please I went back there waited 4 minutes and no one showed up so I left Don't think I'll ever go back in there again. Sure glad I wasn't doing Christmas shopping for my grandkids

I stopped in today to upgrade my bike that I purchased on 8/25/24, and also to buy my husband a bike so we could ride together. My total purchase price for mine was roughly $500.00 after add ons and purchasing the additional 2 year warranty. I was initially told that the manufacturers warranty and the additional warranty wouldn’t run concurrently, I later realized that I was given the wrong information by Brettyn who rang me up.
During my visit today, the service level was unimaginably different than my sales experience just 2 1/2 weeks ago. Retail stores in general never provide the same level of service when returning items as they do at point of sale. Today’s experience was no different. When me and my husband arrived to the store, we wheeled the newly purchased bike in store, and was barely greeted by Shantel, who assured us that she would do all she could to help. She then phoned the store manager who rudely explained to me that they have only a 24 hour return policy on bike purchases, and that she absolutely would not return it. I referred to the back of my receipt which nowhere on there states that I only get 24 hours. I was then advised that I should have read the small sign on the counter at point of sale, OR gone online to review the policy. In the store managers words, “The return policy is so long that we can’t fit all the policies on the receipts”.. You mean to tell me with all that space, you couldn’t squeeze in the 24 hour policy?
Nonetheless, I was toyed with for over 30 minutes trying to return this bike. At which point my mind was made up, we were NOT buying my husband’s bike from Dicks. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
Shantel proceeds to call customer service to reiterate the policies after I specifically asked for a General Manager. Whose information they both refused to provide. Shortly after the store manager realized I wasn’t leaving without a return, she calls the GM from her cell, who advised her to proceed with the return.
Shantel then decides to only refund the purchase of the bike, and not the cup holder and kickstand that I also purchased, in some weird attempt to ensure I came back to upgrade. How silly of her to think I’d make a future purchase after the way I was treated today.
Few recommendations, add in the 24 hour policy ON the receipt, it’s highly misleading if you don’t. Also your staff apparently requires more training regarding your warranty programs, and lastly, this staff could use some service training ..
