Every time my mom & I have gone to Hancock Whitney ? the employees are so welcoming. As a matter of fact we have gone so much the employees know us by name. If we have a problem they do their best to get the problem resolved immediately. They really take good care of their customers.

UPDATE....NOW IT'S 4 OUT OF 6 TIMES that they applied it to the wrong part of the account!!! IF YOU WANT TOTALLY STUPID AND INCOMPETENT TELLERS THIS IS THE PERFECT BANK FOR YOU!! I do not understand WHY it is so difficult to make a PRINCIPAL ONLY PAYMENT. OVER AND OVER AND OVER again I go into the bank to make a PRINCIPAL ONLY Payment on my mortgage, say it repeatedly, they assure me it is going to only the principal and then I get my statement and they apply it to my monthly payment and the remainder to principal. This has happened 3 TIMES OUT OF 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! This bank is awful, how hard can it be, really???

I have been pleased with the service I have recieved at this location. For example, I rushed by the other day and arrived right after closing time. The doors were locked so I turned around to go home. As I was walking back to my car the lady at the front desk unlocked the front door and yelled out to me that she hadn't shut down everything yet and was able to help me with what I needed. She didn't have to do that and I appreciated the extra effort.

Mid south bank where I used to bank was just acquired by Whitney Hancock. The day before everything was supposed to switch I had an incorrect debit amount to the city utilities for an astronomical amount. I called on a Saturday to rectify the situation and was told to call back Monday (normal business hours). Check your accounts people. A $900+ Debit to the water company, I feel like should have been caught.

Sold vehicle to individual first Sept. During merger with mid south. Have been trying daily to get an answer to where title is for buyer. No one has an answer except that it's been mailed, though they have no tracking number or date. Very disappointing service. Thought it might improve after merger.
