Connie she was so sweet and helpful, she really made my day she was super helpful and really sweet, let me go back when the last time I went to donate a man came out and was so rude didint even give me a smile acted like I was a bother, but this time Connie came out and greeted me with a smile and helped me and even thanked me for my Donation, good job Goodwill you need more people like her. :)”

“The ladies here were so helpful and kind. My daughter could try on as many dresses as she wanted. Wasn't rushed. After she found a dress they let her pick out a purse and makeup and jewelry. All was included in the student price of the dress. This place truly helped her to afford a magical prom.”

“I had a wonderful experience with this rescue. I went through the application process as required in order to adopt a bonded pair of rabbits. I worked with Megan via email and in person and had a wonderful experience. The other volunteers were just as kind. Seeing what they do in person made me want to support even more. I love the work they are doing, and plan to continue to support in the future. They have a store where you can purchase your rabbit needs, and all the rabbits are even more adorable in person!”

“I have had 3 little chihuahuas spayed here. They are great doctors. I didn't have any problems with my girls. Their shots, heartworm, flea and tick medications are a lot cheaper. I go there each year for shots and heartworm testing and meds.

All teachers are volunteers that bring support , love , and guidance through this time of learning and companionship. After lossing my job in 2024 I needed to learn office skills to take to my next journey. Proud graduate of class May 2025.”
“I fly out of Abilene (ABI) airport 30+ weeks each year. Over the last 25 years I've seen DFW grow and grow.

VFW Post 9190, Established in 1962, is one of the better VFW's. I do wish that when you Google them, that the Google location data provided their hours when they open up the canteen and when they close said canteen. It might be listen on their website, but unfortunately I have yet to peruse that platform as of yet, and of course before I 5 stared them and placed this long winded paragraph for everyone and anyone to enjoy my plethora of rhetorical insightful blithering banter. Regardless, I plan to hang out there, in their canteen, today, the 7th of July, 2024. I just wished it was easier to find out their hours modus operandi schedules, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera ... ?

“Very thankful for the Keller Lions Club having this Flag Retirement Box so that we could properly dispose of an American flag that was tattered and left by the previous homeowners when we moved in. They also have an Eye Glasses & Hearing Aid collection box if anyone needs that too.”

“We are so happy with Lonestar ABA and in the 1 month we have seen improvement in our son. You can tell they care about your child and the BCBA’s really get to know your child to set up the roadmap for therapy. They also offer amazing activities for the family to join in on. We attended a fall festival with games for everyone and a petting zoo and they just had a sensory friendly Santa event where they took family pictures with Santa! I couldn’t be happier here and highly recommend Lonestar ABA.”
“I'm writing this review after hearing about the DFW Writer's Workshop for nearly two years, but having just visited as a guest. (Guests can listen in on the sessions, but you do need to be a member to give feedback or share your work during the readings.) This is a welcoming, professional, and friendly group of writers. During the session I sat in on, I heard excerpts from fiction, a non-fiction work on the Vietnam war, and modern poetry from a young Black poet. The attendees are diverse in age, race, and ability level - I had a great time and am about to become a member.If you're used to professional writer's workshops (as opposed to informal groups like NaNoWriMo), you'll be right at home here. But if you become a member, do expect to receive honest, constructive critique from writers who want to help you. I got nothing of a "cliquish" vibe or any feeling of hostility from this group. I look forward to going back.”
“Quickly able to drop off. Typical drop off location. Only complaint is everything has to be carried in thru front door except for large furniture type items which go in thru the back.”
“Amazing Christ focused, outdoor, safe, FUN experience. My children attended for years and now as college students are camp counselors. Expect your kiddos to come home dirty from all the outdoor fun, reciting Bible verses, and want to go again and again. Worth every penny. 5+ stars.”

Her positive attitude and professionalism truly stood out and made my visit memorable. Employees like Naomi are the reason people keep coming back to Goodwill.
