“Let me tell you about Tate. He has been the Most polite young man that I’ve encountered in a while. Most people tell you what aisle product is on. He literally saw me struggling to find an extension cord and walked over to help me. Young people like him deserve so much more recognition!!! “This place is huge! They have more items than I've ever seen at any Dollar Tree and they were surprisingly very orderly and clean. While most of the check-out registers are self checkout, the guy working was nice and helpful since I had to go to him to get some balloons. As a whole, I was pleasantly surprised.”

“Went in today to grab some food items and MAN, I was blown away by how organized it was. I didn't get her name but the stock associate's (African-American woman with the glasses) merchandising skills are top notch. Everything was neat, clean, organized with the labels facing front. You just don't see that type of attention to detail very often. In addition to the cleanliness of the store, all the associates were friendly and approachable.”
“For the past month I have seen the same cashier closing the store 30 minutes to an hour past closing time. The one time I come & they're closed before 10pm, I witnessed a customer throw a fit then proceed to give a bad, *exaggerated* review. I thought I'd shed some light on the situation and mention that the gentleman is an excellent employee! Also it is up to the manager when the doors close for the store, but I'm sure they had a good reason too!!”

“I love this Dollar General because they have everything I need and the price is great. When I say I live below my means on purpose oh I mean that!! I shop at four stores: HEB, Dollar General, Walmart sometimes, and Target when I treat myself?I brought all my detergent and dryer sheets from here! I am on my second container and Sundays& Mondays are Laundry Days no exceptions. I love driving across town coming here and stocking up on products✌?I used to lived in this area before moving one of my colleagues lives in the area also. Small world!! “One OF THE BEST STORE ..AND YOU MIGHT go in and forget why you went because you most likely to BUY UP EVERYTHING in there because they have great household item and more...things you wouldn't imagine would be in their store for good price..so I hope the prices don't go up just because..lol...but we don't mind sharing our great location when it come to good budgets...most of our items last long so I must tell the truth..I will drive out the way for this store....??? keep up the good work..that guy that been working and keeping that store in good deeds for his customers..we ?THANKS YOU FOR HAVING SUCH GREAT PRICES AND NOT RIPPING OFF THE/ YOUR COMMUNITY FR..SIR...REALLY ???????”

“Let me tell you something, Dollar Tree comes in clutch every time. Where else can you go and buy goodies from the bathroom to the bedroom all for $1.25. I try to go in with a list but by the time I get to the register I've picked up all the extras lol The shower curtain liner works great, even picked up some carpet cleaner and dish soap. The beauty and cosmetics section is the real deal. A lot of skin creams, beauty blenders, pretty much everything you need for an at-home spa day. The cashier is always nice and speedy. No complaints from me. In today's economic climate, saving a few dollars on household items is so important.”

“Granted, it's not in the greatest part of town, so there's not much to be expected, and really, one could even expect it to be in worse shape, and everything's fine except for it being unorganized and understaffed. Other than that and the fact that Dollar Tree isn't the only place where EVERYTHING is just one dollar, the staff is usually pleasant and I can always find what I need. Thumbs up in my book. ??”
“So many bargains. I used to go in with a firm grasp on how much money I would spend. Today I spent $35 and liked it. Nice to find these stores when they have people working hard to keep the shelves full instead of a store that has all of it's merchandise still in boxes on a cart clogging the aisles. Even though I spent too much today I will go back to the store that offered a better run shopping experience.”

“There are two ladies that have the best customer service in the world!!! Rose and the other young lady that worked on Sat 9/30/23 the morning shift. I have never experienced such a pleasant experience in any other dollar general, I live closer to a different one, but from yesterday going forward I will only go to that one off New York and park row . I did get the ladies name , but unfortunately I can’t find it now. I hope the general manager sees this and knows those two young ladies makes that store worth the gas and time just driving there. A big thank you to the two employees that worked Saturday morning 9/30/23 around 11 am???”

“Previously there was a person who worked there who was not very friendly and thought she had rights as if she owned the store. She was not helpful and was always in a bad mood. Now I haven't seen her anymore.
The atmosphere is different and the people who are there now are very friendly, that's why I will give them five stars.”
“I did not go in the family dollar but I stopped at the BBQ truck in the parking lot and this was off the bone, tender, and very flavorful ribs i had so if you want some good bbq... that's the place... like I wanted to go back for a second plate but I had to go back to work but he will definitely be my bbq guy from now on”
“This store (1527 s bowen rd ) is always stocked and beautiful when you walk into the store,it's the best one around all the other dollar general stores around my area are never stoked and very rude i.e the one on green Oaks rd 76006 area hint hint.but not this place I drive all the way hear just to shop in peace and find the things I NEED and they have it, Also the best 2 people who work their are Teresa and Mark they are always here and busy but still have time to be nice with a smile and help when asked every time. This store needs to be a model store for all the other's. This place really out does them self for customers”

“Well stocked, clean, and organized. The staff is very friendly, conversational, and does their job well. Many other reviews comment on waiting for cashiers. While this is true, staffing is determined by the company and not the people working the registers. An employee told me she’s been making $9 for years. I wouldn’t be sweating my ass off to check people out either. ??♀️”
