Went there for my 3 children's glasses. I told them to just give me the basics because my insurance does not cover specialty items as far as I understand---and then the assistant says 'good news your insurance covers everything.' So I said, great, and trusted that everything they were going to offer was paid by my insurance. Even when I said "no he does not need these special upgrades," the other lady had the nerve to guilt us by saying 'he is probably suffering at school without this." Then I even asked to take just the prescription to buy my frames elsewhere and the female doctor flat out said "she needs special lenses that you can not order online." And this was after she said 2 of my kids need special costly eye therapy. AND THEN we get a bill for $65 for each child because guess what-- "our insurance did not cover some items." No wonder the sign on the wall states a guilt message of "eye care does not cost as much as your cable or cell phone" how weird is that. On a teacher's salary already paying a dozen of extra bills, I don't like this vibe at all. Kids go through glasses a lot and the cost already adds up. If you need to go to this location --- definitely call your insurance company before buying whatever they try to sell you. I won't be going back.

I went in to pick up my new glasses. The clerk just handed me the glasses, never telling me the next step. I inquired about adjustment. She went into the room and adjusted the temple brought them back and told me to look down...ok, so the glasses where a little snugger so I left with them. However the glasses were not comfortable and my son even said they were lopsided. I called the store and was told to bring them back. Took them back, a male optician took them back to "the room" briefly and returned with the glasses, I put them on , he looked at them and said done. Needless to say I am not happy with this service. The people that work there are so cold and unhelpful. Is this a family operated office? I want to return the glasses for a refund and go elsewhere for my glasses.

I went in to get my exam and the eye Doctor wanted to take an image of the back of my eye. I explained to her that my insurance does not cover it and did not want to pay out of pocket for it. She assured me by saying cause of my diabetes that she would get them to pay for it. I called the office twice with them and the payment office and today about 8-9 months later I had to pay it. I don’t mind the money but why lie to my face and then not even have the nerve to call me and explain why she said what she said.

I visited this office for the first time today. The customer service was exceptional. Aubrey greeted me with a happy face and was very informative throughout the process. Shay and Ruben helped me with ordering my contacts and understanding all of the services provided. Everyone was extremely helpful, informative, professional and pleasant. I will be switching my family from their current eye dr to here!

The only reason they get two stars is for the doctor she is super sweet and helpful. The front desk staff are not friendly. My biggest complaint is that when I bought my year’s worth of contacts last year they told me don’t open them all if your RX changes you can exchange the unopened boxes. I had two unopened boxes for each eye. My RX only changed in one eye. At first no one could help me because only a manager does exchanges then the doctor helped straighten that out. Next the lady told me to exchange them I had to buy a year supply for each eye. I told her I still had two boxes for the RX that did not change. She stated that didn’t matter. I explained it was ridiculous that I had buy a year’s worth for the Rx that didn’t change giving me a year and a half supply for one eye. When I originally bought them they did not say both eyes had to change to exchange the unopened boxes. Don’t go here for contacts it is a scam.

I went here because of my insurance and im new to Texas. First they did all these pictures and didn't ask me to make sure I would be able to pay. The bill was outrageous, I will never good back I would be better going to America Beat. Then when my glasses was done when I went to go get them the lady at the counter said here try them on and that was it. I'm use to having them sit me down and they look at me to make sure they fit and look good, she didn't even give me a mirror so I can make sure they was good. I just grabbed them and left. Don't recommend them at all.

Went in to get my eye checked out after foreign body impacted eye. Because it was a medical visit insurance didn’t pay for this (totally understandable)Set up what I thought was an eye exam (is covered by my insurance) for the next week so I could also get new glasses (also covered if I get an eye exam).I was very clear that my intention was to get an eye exam, so I could qualify for free new frames.Showed up for my eye exam and it was now a “medical check up” which does not qualify for coverage. Honestly just overall this places communication about what my visits were for and what I would pay for was subpar. I will be changing eye doctors.

optic nerve damage due to my MS. see the " Dr" there. tells me i need MRI right away but says if i have ANY symptoms.. call her immediately, i call. leave message as she is with patients. the office tells me she will call in between patients. wait 1 hour. call back.. now told she will call me after her last patient ?.. apparently they didn't feel my call was important enough. left message AGAIN... nothing .now the office is closed .... my vision issues are and should be a priority but apparently it's not.. needed steroid eye drops ASAP but now have to wait till tomorrow. complete INCOMPETENCE. they didn't mind taking my money right away... that's the most important thing apparently.get the money but your eye health is secondary ???so as i leave this review .. the dr calls and apparently the person who took the message didn't bother to tell her WHY i called even though i told the person why i was calling and what i needed. so by the time i see voicemail.. the dr says sorry we are closed and will be back tomorrow. no after hours number. what a completely useless doctor and useless staff ???hopefully i don't have permanent vision loss because of their incompetence..OWNER..you need to call me if you want more details about the complete story about what's happened in the last 48 hours.. if you care about the reputation of your office!!

Second time here and was reminded why I will never return. Eye exam was standard for son. Shay was great as far as being patient while we looked at eyeglasses. Other than that, place is highway robbery. As we all know eye insurance is also barely worth paying for. I spent $1k on a pair of glasses and a year worth of contacts and STILL got a bill that I owe another $41. Took my daughter to America’s Best, got 2 designer pairs of glasses for $300 including exam and the customer service there was OUTSTANDING. Beware.

Please Stop sending me messages to revisit please to have my yearly exam. Shae, or Shay got my order wrong and refused to admit she was the one who made the mistake before my special order was turned in. ( which was non refundable ) I also had some issues with Kendall as well. Will never forget - A regretfully bad mistake and will never return. I hate when others are simply“Looking after” you. SMH

The office is efficient and helpful. They make working with insurance (or none) easy. They are up front about costs and provide prescriptions easily so you can purchase glasses elsewhere although their selection is great.

Just finished my first appointment and had a great experience. Everyone here was friendly and answered all of my questions throughly. They helped a glass-wearing novice like me pick out a set of frames that will compliment my look and be durable. Very happy so far!

staff is really friendly. I had to pick a new eye doctor once mine after 20 years retired. I loved Dr. Latham and the assistant who helped me pick glasses was wonderful ad well.I would recommend to anyone
