The owner Nia is a very nice person. Her prices are competitive, the shop is always neat & clean. I recommend this braid shop to everyone.

Horrible experience. I should've known when they called me 9:15 asking me to come at 1:30 (appointment was for 11), then texted saying that I can come at my scheduled time, but when I got there they were trying to tell me that they told me to come in later! I provided the picture of the style that I wanted and it looks awful. They're way too big. When I told them that the cornrows in the front were too chunky, the woman had hell of attitude and was obviously pissed at me for speaking up! I don't speak French, but I can read body language and facial expressions. She added rows that probably shouldn't be there so that the front could lay flatter. Now, I have a hump on that side. Don't get me started on these horrible knots. Ugh, I felt like she was rushing and just trying to get me out of there. I wasn't the only customer who complained about her rushing and making their braids too big. She was the older woman with a small burgundy fro. I honestly didn't have time to stay and argue because I had other things I needed to do before going on vacation. If they felt that they couldn't achieve the look I wanted, they could have let me know and I would've decided to do something different that would look nice.

I am new to this area and came to get my locs retwisted and styled. Firstly, I didn’t realize that it was a braiding salon. About my hair: I have 58 locs and they are slightly passed mid back length. I thought the high price was indicative of the quality of service so I did not mind that it was $130 for a shampoo, retwist and style. The stylist complained that my hair was too long, then she later complained that it was too thick. She was not able to style it in a way that was acceptable to me. All I wanted was a ponytail and faux bangs. Simple enough. Long story short I paid $130 plus card fees to look basic and still have to find someone to style my locs. The $130 was to include a style and my locks were not styled. Additionally there were card fees tacked on, so I technically paid MORE than $130. I would not recommend this salon for loc styling or maintenance. I really wanted to like it and typically do not leave bad reviews but this was an awful experience.

Brought 18 inch wet and wavy. For micros The lady cut about a inch and a half off before braiding it .. never in my life has this happened she said it wasn't going to braid right. Then had 3 bags she only used one and a lil bit of second bag. It was for my mother's birthday wasn't happy at all. Very disappointing

I’m posting this for my son because he is not on SM. He tried this location because our regular loctician was booked. He goes for palm roll, which is supposed to included a shampoo and requested oils only, no gel. Well, hair wasn’t washed (she said she would wash it AFTER she finished palm rolling. She used gel because she said she was out of oil, she didn’t dry it because the hooded dry and hand held dryer wasn’t working (

I have had several styles from Maria and her stylists. The box braids that I received today are my favorite! I have thick, just past my shoulder, natural hair, but Maria and the other two stylists did an amazing job. If you want a great style and keep your precious edges - grab your mask and don’t walk, but run to Nia Soule Salon!

I called the day before because I desperately needed braids during the quarantine. They were able to fit me in and even though I was a couple minutes late, they got the senegalese twists done in record time. I wish I had gone longer but either way there's been a lot of compliments. It's been nearly a month and my new growth is poppin. I will definitely be back soon for another style!

I was told being a new customer that I would get a $30 discount but what she did was charge me for the $190 box braids but did the $160 braids and they were huge not full you can see right thru them and also she did not braid them down all the way.... be more professional and stop over charging ppl... I called 2 days later to tell her and she says that’s the size for that price but I could come in and she’ll fix it but she schedule me to come in 8 days after I talked to her

Empress and Angelique did my kinky twist!! I had been following NiaSoule Salon before they even opened. I was between the idea of getting my hair relaxed again by a random hair shop or getting my hair professionally done. In the past I have had my hair braided by friends that braid, but this experience was different.I had 2 people braiding my hair at the same time which cut the time sitting in the chair in half. They were very professional, and knowledgeable about matching hair color, and the type of braids I should get to allow my hair to go. I will definitely return! Thanks girls for my fabulous braids! Phylicia

This was the most pleasant hair braiding experience I have ever had. I will never let anyone else braid my hair. First, the shop is in a great location and the interior is beautiful. Second, the stylist, Angelique, does everything to ensure your comfort during your visit. Third, my braids are absolutely beautiful and I'm not dying from overwhelming pain from too tight braids! This is the best place I have ever visited and I have been to many places in DFW. Look no where else for your hair braiding needs!
