Brought my car to Pep Boys for an alternator replacement. The very nice time I drove my car it overheated and I found the serpentine belt dangling off at the bottom. Seeing as how the serpentine belt has to be removed to replace the alternator it made sense that this was either not replaced or replaced incorrectly. The assistant manager told me there was 0% chance of this and that it was merely a coincidence. Complete lack of customer service.

The few times I have had to get my vehicle serviced, it was here at PEP Boys. Thankful to have had a pleasant experience every time. Aaron, Jonathon, great customer service. I'll continue to bring my car to these guys.

He aggressively snapped the throttle causing the car to lurch while pulling it into the bay, while hanging out the window and laughing with the other techs. Then once in the bay, to cheers of his coworkers proceeded to rev my car.

Dropped my vehicle off around 8:30AM for an oil change. I was told there wouldn’t be any technicians available until 10:30AM and I was okay with that. I was one of only two vehicles there at the time. Guy told me it’d probably be done around 11:30AM so I said cool. Called backed at 12:00PM as I hadn’t received any updates. Spoke to a Carlos and he told me he would call me back with the status of my vehicle. 30 minutes later I never received a call, only to find out they had only just started on my vehicle. I’ve been here multiple times and always had issues. I do not recommend this place for anything, and for oil changes you’re better off going to the 5 Minute Oil change place down the street.

I had a dash light come on in my car. I stopped by there. He was SO helpful, came out and checked my coolant, it was low. He looked up which product was right for my car,. I purchased it and he put it in my car for me. I went to tip him and he was refusing to take it...(I finally made him 😉). He said they are happy to do things like this as a courtesy.
It's so nice to have customer service like that!!!

made a reservation, but the technician wasn't available at that time, made another reservation. They said they could change the engine oil in about 45 minutes, but it took 1 hour and 30 minutes. While I was waiting for the maintenance to be completed, they did not even inform me about the delay in car maintenance.
Instead, when asked when it would end, he gave an unkind answer.
I used a $45 discount coupon and paid $80, but...
This is a visit where I was able to understand why the rating was 3.8 even though this place issued a coupon and the price was low.
Sorry- I wouldn't recommend this place.

The customer service with John was great. To-day I scheduled tire rotation service at this Bedford pepboys instead of Dallas Pepboys location where I had my tires changed. The person in charge couldn't pull the original order but acted in good faith to take of my maintenance quickly. Very happy with the service!

The staff and the service will always be best for me. Every time I am here John always informs me… who, what , when , and why details of my car…. Quick and to the point so I understand…… I always know my car is safe when leaving.
