1) Always call you on the day of appointment saying they don't have available staff. I don't know why they still keep their booking system....... 2) Some staff clearly do not know how to get along with dogs.....

After 2 years of coming to this location, our visits were always up in the air. They would either reschedule our appointments because they don't have the staff available but yet still book appointments. Ive actually been rescheduled before because the front desk person said that the doctor I scheduled with was no longer there. Oh and also, Ive been rescheduled on 3-4 different times because the doctor had to "Do Something" and could not see me, is what I was told by the front desk.I lost trust with them and keeping the right record's on file. There have been times where they have given an extra shot by mistake then tell me "but your baby will be okay". They harass you with calls consistently trying to get you schedule services, you sound like a sales company. I've literally had to ask them to please stop calling to try and schedule, I will schedule at my own time... there still calling me trying to schedule after I've informed them that I would not be returning to that location.Veterinarians never seem to stay, it's a revolving door. I would drive all the way from Austin because this WAS a good location but after a couple of months going there, things took a terrible turn. Be sure you always ask what your charges are because they like to sneak services that "your pup needs" without your consent. They wont say anything, they just charge the card assuming you approved the add on service or they will tell you at checkout leaving you no choice but to pay. Not a good way to conduct business in my opinion. I cant tell you how many times they have charged me for additional services other then what was initially scheduled.Overall, I highly recommend anyone to find a local vet that will take the time to get to know you and your baby. Find a veterinarian that you can create a relationship with because at Banfield, no one ever seems to stay. I'm waiting out the remaining term of my contract but NEVER going back to Banfield after this contract is complete. Horrible company and ready to charge you for anything and everything. Don't waist your time or money with Banfield. Do what you want with this information. My review isn't long for nothing.

I cannot describe how bad my experience was here. To start, I took my 3 year old pit bull/ lab mix who weights 47 pounds. They called me and told me she was overweight and needed to lose 12 pounds. That’s 25% her body weight. When I asked what they took into account they said BREED DIDN'T MATTER and you should be able to barely touch her and feel her ribs. So you should feel an english bull dogs ribs? I will attach a picture so you can see if my dog is “12 pounds overweight”. When I questioned banfield they proceeded to tell me “it was just a suggestion and if I wanted my dog to live longer I would follow the recommended diet”. Well, since then I have taken my dog to Terrell vet clinic in lakeway and the vet told me my dog was ideal weight and they were horrified that any vet would suggest she lose 12 pounds. The second instance was I received a email 3 months after my dog got vaccinated saying they had been exposed and “weren’t refrigerated properly” so she had to come back and get all the vaccines AGAIN. Never in my life has this happened and I’m so glad I have left this clinic.

It was great to witness God's guiding hand working the fruits of the Holy Spirit through the staff. They were definitely exercising patience and longsuffering with both the technical difficulties and overwhelming number of clients waiting to be seen.By God's grace the staff expertly handled the power outage that introduced significant check-in delays and put all surgeries for the day at risk of cancelation.

I’ve been to this location before today with no issues. I had a dental cleaning appointment scheduled for 8:15 am and they couldn’t be bothered to tell me it was cancelled until I arrived at the store only to be turned away because the surgeon was out sick. The issue that irritates me and earns their low star review is their lack of communication; they could’ve notified me as soon as the surgeon called in sick and saved me a trip that stresses out my pets but nothing like that happened.

Just not a great experience at all.... Even with everyone being super nice, just didn't like how nothing was explained to me in precise detail from the initial visit to even after.

I don't even want to rate this group at Bee Cave's. I now have seen you deny service to someone with a hurt dog and not want to approve a prescription for a flea pill. The vet's and tech's at this Banfield Bee Cave's are the worst. I use to have my Danes on a plan with them. Let's just say that they see your dog for 5 minutes and they think they know everything about it.....I call BS. The vet's are afraid of larger dogs and don't listen to the owners. I will never, never frequent the doors of Bee Cave's clinic again.
