We were very disappointed in the service and customer service. The job was a small pantry closet. The technician arrived and didn't know how to do the work plus he didn't have all the tools to do the job. Instead of taking one day, it took 2 days to complete the work. We tried reaching California Closets to talk with someone but no one returned our calls. Our rep offered to help us but she didn't follow through. She was out on maternity leave so that contributed to the lack of communication. I would not recommend them. Too expensive for the quality of service.

I am happy with the end result, but the project was expensive, and the customer service was lukewarm. The installers were nice, polite, hardworking young men who seemed very familiar with the products and eager to do a good job--my complaint is not with them. I agree with the reviewer who mentioned how frustrating it is to have to find someone to do the closet demolition separately. My demo people had questions, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with the person who sold me the design or anyone else to answer. You would think for the price they would be a little bit more responsive.

I love my new cabinets. The process could not have been better. I worked with Amanda on design and Trey installed.
Amanda was so helpful. She listened to what I needed and worked within my budget. Before she left I had 3D rendering of exactly what they installed a few weeks later.
Trey was very professional. He worked quickly and cleanly, making sure that all the drawers and doors were lined up and worked perfectly before leaving.
I could not be more pleased. I would highly reccommend California Closets, Bee Cave, ask for Amanda and Trey.

Horrible experience from design through installation! Not the same company I used in California.
PS: not sure how to respond to your comments, but the photos don’t speak to the experience and what happened before it was done. If you’d be so kind to respond to my email, I’d be happy to let you know what could be done to make it right?

This was overall a good experience. I have to say I have regrets in retrospect. This was a laundry room makeover.
The major regret is my advisor asked me how much above the washer and dryer I wanted cabinets. My W/D were nearly 10 years old yet seemed new to me - graphite gray LG front load on pedestals, I said well, I guess 2-3”? It turns out all the newest models are 3”-4” taller than mine. So when I upgraded my units, I had to find something that would fit and I was unable to have it on rollers. I WISH I had been advised to go with more wiggle room. I feel my advisor should have Bern able to direct me better.
My second issue is that / although the color is good - I just think the cabinet quality is inferior. If I could do it over I would install cabinets from a kitchen-level product and get the right advice on the future needs for my laundry room.

Gotta say I was disappointed at the quality of my closet install. My salesperson was great but that I had to have not one but three or more follow up appointments was a let down. The product was not the quality I thought I would be getting by going with CC - I should have paid up and gone with closets designed by my contractor...

Did three projects last fall: linen closet in laundry, update of walk in closet and bookshelves framing a double window. Design and installation process were a breeze.

The workmen hit a water pipe during installation and never finished the job. We never received compensation for the awful situation. Not a good company.after two years I get a reply that the company will follow up off line. This is totally untrue and has never followed up. Keep away it’s now 3 months later and still no follow up.

Overall it was a good experience but the job was not fully completed, the locked were loosely placed, the caulk was not placed well so there are gaps which are eye sores. If that is the job you are going to do, do not charge as much as you do but if you are going to have high prices then live up to it
