Melanie has been a literal Angel helping me with so many holidays,with party favors, balloons and just being so patient with my children in the store. Thank you for being someone to help calm my nerves in times where I feel overwhelmed. An amazing employee that makes this store shine!

Extremely Unprofessional and Unwelcoming Staff
I had a terrible experience at this Five Below location. As soon as I walked in with my children, an older female employee approached me with an attitude, telling me the store was closing in 15 minutes. I acknowledged her and continued in — the store isn’t that big, and we weren’t planning to take long.
Despite that, she and another younger employee (wearing baggy shorts) walked away visibly annoyed and started gossiping about us. We weren’t the only customers there, so I’m not sure why we were singled out or treated like a burden. A few minutes later, they made a closing announcement over the intercom, which was totally understandable. But then the older woman came toward the back of the store where we were, giving us dirty looks and making us feel extremely uncomfortable.
At that point, we decided to put everything down and leave. As we walked out, the same employee stood by the front shaking her head, visibly annoyed and gossiping again — all because a few customers were still in the store. It was uncalled for and completely unprofessional. It felt like all three employees hated being there and took it out on the customers.
I will not be shopping at this location again. I sincerely hope the owner or manager reviews the security footage to see that we did absolutely nothing to deserve this kind of treatment. The job market is tough right now — this employee should learn to appreciate having a job before she finds herself without one.
We took our business to World Market instead (and you should too) , where we were treated with respect and kindness, a night and day difference.

Purchased a neck massager that had clearly been used before. The box was torn open (which I assumed was just transit damage), but the massager had someone else’s hair stuck all around the rollers. Also looked like it was chewed up by a dog. Not sure if they are re-packaging returned items without checking the usage. I know it’s only $5 but I was grossed out by this health hazard.

Pretty decent selection of items! A lot of Asian snacks and drinks available as well as nostalgic candy that might be hard to find in other places. I picked up several items for gifting as well as gift bags. Also grabbed some of those Hawaiian chips, Hi-Chew, and Razzles. Really good place for kids’ toys and teenage hobbies.

Great place to go if you're looking for little stocking stuffers or just small gifts. I was able to find toys for my little cousins. Prices are reasonable. I was actually looking for my candy items. I thought five below carried old school candies and even Japanese candy and sodas. I didn't find much of that. As far as customer service goes. I was greeted very nicely when I walk through the door. But that was all the interaction I had. This is a self checkout store.
