Poor customer service. Upon initiating the cancellation process, I was shocked to learn of HCI's 30-day policy, mandating an additional month's payment post-cancellation. When I expressed my confusion at this policy, the account services representative callously informed me that this information was supposedly conveyed to me six months prior upon signing up. However, this assertion contradicts my recollection of being assured that I was enrolling in a flexible month-to-month plan with no binding contract, affording me the liberty to discontinue my membership at any point. The apologetic tone adopted by the account service representative was disingenuous and insincere, lacking any genuine attempt to rectify the situation or address my concerns adequately. It is evident that this situation regarding the cancellation policy is a systematic flaw in HCI's customer service approach. How many patrons unwittingly acquiesce to this policy, paying for an additional 30 days of service they no longer utilize? This policy only favors HCI's financial interests while blatantly disregarding the needs and preferences of its clientele. HCI Sports Club must urgently reevaluate its business practices, prioritizing transparency, and consumer welfare. I implore HCI to reconsider its 30-day policy and adopt a more customer-centric approach, one that aligns with ethical standards and fosters a sense of trust and reliability among its patrons.

I cancelled my membership April '23 and they said I had to come in to sign a cancellation form. Living nearly an hour away, it was a PIA to say the least, but I made plans to meet friends for dinner afterwards. I went in, signed the form and went on my way. Fast forward 6 months, I see I am still being billed! I called HCI and they basically called me a liar. I did my part by coming in to sign the form (I told them to even check security cameras) but they failed to process on their end. And even after you cancel your membership, you have to pay another additional month, so just be aware!

Great staff, professional trainers and helpful nice smiling! I love the HCI community, even visiting Austin for a week everyone including the members are so sweet and nice and welcoming you so warmly!

Been going to this gym for years! I LOVE it. I am an avid weightlifter and this gym is fantastic and provides so much. I especially love the kid care for my 4 year old. He’s been coming with me for years and he loves going. It’s a very clean, well organized and managed gym full of everything you could need for fitness and fun.

I’ve been a member since this place opened. Haven’t gone for awhile but went back today. Scanned my fancy metal tag and went to place my things in a locker. Front desk called me over and said my membership was cancelled and my family plan was changed to a different “base” membership with of course the same cost- kids and wife go all the time. I explained my family plan was never changed and I’ve been a member since this place opened. The kid at the desk could care less and told me I could work out for “free” today- what an insult- I’ve paid over $10,,000 to this gym since inception and he acted like he was doing me a favor. Place sold out and is more interested in having Instagram models taking pictures acting like they are working out on equipment versus people who want to work out and train. Used to be a great family place now like everything else poor client service and care less attitude. This is the best part- I told him I am never coming back and I’ll ask my wife to cancel and he said do you want to sign the cancellation agreement- how can I sign an agreement to cancel a membership when I am not a member? what a joke.

Fantastic facility for the whole family! My kids love the basketball courts and football field…they come regularly to practice with friends. I love the classes, my husband loves the gym. Everything is clean, the staff are friendly, locker rooms are nice, and the cafe/sitting area is a lovely retreat. We’re so grateful to have HCI in our neck of the woods!

Amazing gym. I joined for pickleball but I love having this space to workout, go to a (good) class, or just even work at the Cafe. Staff is very casual in a good way. Not sure what the bad reviews are about. This place is super clean and pristine all the time when I'm there. There is always someone cleaning something. Looks like nice kid care, but haven't mustered up the courage to actually leave my kid there. Great place to make friends. Highly recommend!

Wonderful gym!!! Been a member for over a year now. This place has everything. It's always very clean. Lots of machines. Multiple workout areas. Courts of all kinds. Lots of included FREE classes, which is pretty amazing in itself.. as far as the reviews with one or two stars. Just read how silly they are. One complains they don't have shampoo in the shower. Really, bring your own like the rest of us. This is a 140k sqft dream of a place to work out and be fit!!

Overall the facility is very nice (customer service is always a hit or miss). We have been a member since they opened and the gym still feels new and clean. The variety of classes offered is also a huge bonus! My one complaint is the bathroom/locker room situation. With that large of a gym, it is very surprising that there are only 4-5 showers available for customers to use. Furthermore, they can afford Dyson blowdryers but can't offer shampoo/conditioner in the showers themselves (very odd IMO). I think because the gym does such a great job in all the other areas these are the things you expect. The little things definitely go a long way!

Very rude younger blonde girl working at the front desk. She waived us off when we showed up for a volleyball open gym that was on the calendar website. She said “I don’t think the nets are up” and turned away from us trying to work on something else. Confused, we stood there trying to make sense of the situation and she looked back up at us annoyed and said “I can ask my boss if you want but I don’t think he will want to put up the volleyball nets.” She was so dismissive. Will never be returning. Cannot recommend this facility to anyone due to rude customer service and incorrect advertisement. Do better.
