Great job accommodating my wife and I! We had a 7pm reservation for her birthday dinner and were first seated in a boot close to a large party. After realizing it was too noisy there, we were moved to a table over close to the bar and that worked out much better. The Manager and Bartender took turns taking care of us and did an excellent job. Thanks so much for accommodating us!

Service was very slow, food arrived before silverware. Shrimp were rubbery and overcooked. Scallops were burnt. The restaurant was not very busy for such bad service . We have dined here numerous times with a good experience. Perhaps this was a bad night.

Very upset & disappointing that 1/2 price wine at lunch was discontinued. Plus the wine list was less availability than normal . So, we won't be back after years of monthly lunches there.

We had 8:15pm reservations. We arrived 10 minutes early to learn they most likely overbooked. The manager was hustling to get people seated. I remember around 8:30 they began seating 7:45 reservations. We finally got seated at 9pm. Another 10 min before anyone approached our table. Lots of people with reservations left before being seated. Maybe we should have followed their lead. We ordered dinner, no appetizers as it was getting late. Both of us ordered wedge salads which we received with our drinks in less than 10 minutes. So things were looking better for the moment. My wife ordered grilled Ahi and I ordered a Ribeye. The place was emptying out, manager no where to be seen, they started sweeping the floors right around us at the empty tables and seemed more interested in getting ready to go home than paying attention to their customers. Our plates arrived at 10pm. Her fish was prepared nice. The ribeye was ok, but thin and I doubt truly prime cut. We dined at the original Cafe Blue out past Volente years ago which was great. Can't put this place in that category. I doubt we will come back. This place needs some serious training by real restaurant professionals.

Had an 8 o'clock reservation but didn't get seated until about 8:45. Mind you it was Valentine's Day so I'm sure it's not always like that. Food, atmosphere, and service were fantastic!!

We had to wait more than 20 minutes past our reservation time outside in the cold even though we were on time because they didn't have a table ready and way overbooked so it was basically first come first serve

We love dining with Cafe Blue in the Galleria location. Our servers are always professional and noteworthy regarding their menu options. It's typically never overly crowded and we love the convenience of not having to drive downtown to find a parking spot.

Valentines Day dinner with 6:45 reservations, was concerned when we got there and line was 20 something deep with reservations... however they did a good job of getting us in. Service was great, food was the usual very good, both quality and selection. Made a great experience with what initially looked to be an issue.

Had a wonderfully delicious time at Cafe Blue for Valentine Day. Food was delicious and service was impeccable. Although we had reservations, we still experienced about a 30 minute delay in seating due to the heavy bookings for that night and delays by earlier diners exiting the restaurant. Overall a great night and will definitely be returning soon.

The food was fantastic tasting especially the appetizer (Asian style mussels)but the portions were very small and I left still hungry. The service was terrible, the staff was literally running around. It appeared that there were plenty of servers and cleaners but none had ever experienced a busy night. I asked for a refill of my water three times to 3 different people and after finishing my meal I went and filled it myself. Our waiter only came to our table two times and that was to take our order which we had enough time to decide what to eat by the time he arrived and then again when the manager brought us the check and I was paying. He did acknowledge me needing a drink but decided to continue taking orders from new customers. The manager did offer a free dessert which we did not accept I was not trying to get free food but wanted him to address the issue, he just blamed it on being a busy night. Not sure if we will return or not.

You think you make a reservation so you don't have to wait. Not here. Showed up 5 minutes early and they said we were 5th in line to be seated. What in the world is that!!? ?

The Fish Tacos were disappointing. Fish was not completely cooked through, French fries were soggy and not crispy. The management should really spend more time inspecting the food and the kitchen rather than who's at the hostess station. Our server was more interested in his larger table next to us then our table for two on Valentine's Day. Will not be back!

Challenges: Service has been erratic last 3 visits. Last night, poor. May have been understaffed. Did not get water refilled, had to ask multiple times for complimentary bread. Upside: The fish Sea Bass special was very good, although the proportion was small General Comment: The prices of their wine selections is good, however, pricey

Great seafood dinner to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. Quick, friendly service. Food was delicious. We'll definitely be going back. - Coconut shrimp - Crab stuffed shrimp - Ocean Drum special - Simple Salmon - Molten chocolate dessert

The only reason there's not 5 stars is the hostesses. They are not trained well and come off as rude. They said we had to wait 15 minutes despite the reservation because they were short in waiters. But alas once seated, our waiter was great. So the hostess set the wrong tone.
