We tried to buy a new 30" in wall oven from Lowe's in Bee Cave, but were told by their installation team that it would not fit in the space. Actually we had to call to find out the results of the visit by the measurement guy, to get that information after a two week delay. We were replacing a different 30" oven. We went to Ferguson's Appliance and bought the same oven, no issues. It was installed today in less than 30 minutes in the same space as the old oven. Seems like Lowe's needs a new installation team or better measuring tapes.

I have had nothing but good experiences at the Bee Cave Lowe's.I have always been greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff. I want to especially thank Norman. He was the most helpful employee of the kids DIY workshop I have ever experienced! I appreciate that Norman made the monthly kid workshops super fantastic!

I am not at all surprised to see that this location has low ratings. Their prices are offerings are no different from the others, but their employees are rude. I went in one time to purchase a solution that you spray on tree when you trim their limbs to prevent them from infection. I searched all over to find an employee and found two guys having a conversation about their hats. Thrilling... Anyway, I must have been out of line to ask about the product I wanted to buy. One of the guys points back toward the store and says an aisle number. I go there and search and search, walk around to the ends of the aisle, etc. and I don't see it. I made a point to go back to the same guy because I am fairly certain that they are told to actually walk you to the product. Anyway, he finally pulls up his tool to see that there are other products with a similar name and he suggests those. I am no tree expert, but I am pretty sure that paint sealant is NOT what you use on trees. While he's looking there, I look on my phone and find the item I need appears to be available at Home Depot. I said that I guess I'm going to go there. He throws his hands up and says, "Guess you should do that." I gave him a raised eyebrow and walked away. I haven't gone back to that store since.

They need more associates working on the floor but it's a tight labor market. Way better than Home Depot any day.

Huge shoutout to the staff here at the Bee Cave Lowes- truly impeccable service and the kids workshop is phenomenal! We love it! Norman made it especially fun for us, he gave us history and insight and a bunch of fun tips. Truly a gentleman who loves his job and it shows. We felt so welcomed and that our presence was genuinely wanted. We can’t wait to complete our 12 pin apron and come back for more family memories together! Thanks to Norman and the staff here, definitely our preferred home improvement shopping experience ?

I purchased 2 new hot water heaters plus install included on 12/1 which were installed on 12/5 by Lowe’s 3rd party contractor sent by Lowe’s. My old hot water heaters were at the end of their lifespan - one was still functioning well while the other wasn’t getting funny hot. I decided to replace both paid over 7k to Lowe’s. It has been about 1.5 months and now neither hot water heater works as well as before despite 5 visits from the technician - I have taken about a week off of work total to deal with this and there is still no resolution. I have complained to Lowe’s via email and in person at the store and no one seems to have any urgency around solving this problem. What seemed like a simple thing had turned into quite the ordeal.

5 star shout out to employee BEN who helped me so much over the phone on Tuesday with a dishwasher connection. He went above and beyond and found a conversion box and saved the whole week! I hope his management see this because such helpful employees are so rare! Thank you!

Excellent experience purchasing blinds to take advantage of the Black Friday special. Gloria gave such a great overview to get us started and allowed us to check out books. Once we gave them our initial thoughts, Gloria and Brandy went above and beyond getting our quote together--3 times! Cody from Levelor came on site to help as well and answer all our questions. I can't say enough good things about all three! They really made us feel like a preferred customer during the quote process.

I've been thinking about doing a small project... did a ton of research and decided to go into Home Depot to look at Lumber for the project but there was just no one there to help. I asked several employees if they new anything about Lumber or knew if there was someone who did and there just really wasn't anyone who knew anything about wood. I went to Lowe's and there were significantly more employees but it was kind of the same when it came down to knowing anything about anything. Both Home Depot and Lowe's employee's can usually just barely tell you where anything is by looking at the app which I could do if my phone actually ever functioned in a store (seriously every store makes it impossible to use their own app, or do price matching to another store). However, as far as helping you goes... knowing what to buy or explaining the differences between products... good luck, because they don't do that kind of thing despite Home Depot and Lowes Marketing which would say otherwise. I know you can't expect to fully go over every project detail but just knowing one or two considerations or giving tips for someone like me who knows literally nothing would have been nice in each department I needed help in. I saw maybe 2 people at Lowe's guiding customers around but that was about it. However, this five star rating is for an Employee at Lowe's not really the store itself though I do a bit at the end of the review. The Employee's name is Mike, and he was great! He works in the Lumber section and listened to what I was planning on doing and gave and showed me things that I didn't consider with my project. I am a total Noob when it comes to building anything out of wood like to the point where I honestly have never used a drill in my life and was a bit freaked out because there are so many different products, tools, options, materials... just so much to consider. However, Mike was able to get an idea of what I wanted to do and really eased my mind. He recommended that I change up my plans to give the project more stability. As well as taught me about the different types of woods and which ones would be most suitable for my project, as well as talked about the overall cost something that I was concerned about as I am on a budget.I will be back to this store just for Mike's help alone. As far as the actual store goes... it seemed alright. The bathroom weren't the best by a long shot just really old and outdated as well as dirty. I will say that the softwoods section looked better here than at Home Depot, less knots in wood and just better looking and straighter wood but like I said I literally know nothing just the basics of choosing wood. This makes it a better choice than Home Depot because I live in an apartment and can't run things through a planer for obvious sound reasons and practical ones not to mention less equipment i need to buy the better. However, I did like the hardwood selection at Home Depot a bit better - though the prices seemed much lower at Lowe's. I really do think if Lowe's and Home Depot just hired more knowledgable employees in specific areas that they would have much better reviews and more business. As for the rest of the store... I think I pretty much talked about most of the employees already above... though I will add that everyone I saw and met was really nice, they just didn't know anything at all about really anything in the store. It took five plus minutes for them to pull out their phones and check the app to see where it was... no one really new instinctively where it was. Even the appliance and paint section was pretty clueless as to what things were which is a real problem as those items in the appliance section are really expensive... I don't know what I'm going to do when I get my own house and have to choose appliances however, based on my experience tonight I know what I'm not going to go to do or get advice/help from. That being said I think I'm far more likely to go here than Home Depot b

Installation service is NOT good. I bought a dishwasher in September 2022 and had it installed by "Lowes". We found out in March 2023 there was a slow leak running under our cabinets for 6 months causing over $5K worth of damage because the installer did not tighten the connection to the dishwasher enough. Turns out Lowes contracted with CRST, who contracted with another plumbing company, who then contracted with an independent installer. I was getting the run around for months as to who was responsible for the repairs. Finally over a year later, I am getting help from the individual installer's insurance company. I find it pretty ridiculous that Lowes is pinning it all on the contractor. They should bear some of the responsibility for blindly outsourcing and not vetting the installers. Lowes is not in control of their installations at all.If you read more reviews below, it pretty clear they are using AI to respond to these reviews because the responses from "Lowes" all follow the same script. I called the number posted in their response and it goes to a generic customer call center.

This Lowes has the best nursery plants of all their sites and Austin and I prefer them to the other big box store. Love the gardening center!
