Everyone is always so lovely but Taylor is the GOAT (pun intended) I followed her from her previous salon because I love her so much and she always does a 10 out of 10! Highly recommended if you want gorgeous hair and a great time 😊😊

I saw Taylor for my first visit at this salon. Taylor was kind and professional from start to finish. The highlights she gave me were perfect. And I am picky. Looking forward to going back in a couple months!

Such a cute salon, spa vibes and they even have goats! Exceptional service from the staff, I always feel taken care of by my girl Kaitlyn and staff! Most importantly…I always leave loving my color and cut. Highly recommend!

My experience here was so welcoming! Kait and Kelsey the owners of the salon are so talented with what they do!!! I know I will always leave with more confidence! They overprocessed my hair...where it was falling off when they removed my foils...and they charged me for the service $300+!!No apology ..a bunch of excuses.They called me after a week to come in for a treatment as they felt bad. They gave me treatment shampoo that was used (almost empty) to take home. This treatment was free..no kidding!! I have spent hundreds of dollars on treatments for my hair - I am in sales and in front of clients all day - and finally had to cut my beautiful hair into a short cut because there is nothing you can really do when your hair salon burns your hair.No one from the management team called to apologize or offer a refund. Sabrina told me they knew about this. Let's sweep this HUGE mistake under the rug Headcase !!DO NOT TRUST THIS SALON. Lots of other places to spend $300+Service: Hairstyling

I came to Shear Headcase a few years ago when I first moved to Austin. I booked an appointment for a hair cut and highlights. I liked the hair cut, but when it came to the hair color, she put all of the highlight foils in my hair, but didn't let them set or give them time to develop. She immediately took me back to wash my hair, so naturally the color didn't develop and it didn't look like I even got my highlights done. Ive been coloring my hair since I was 14 and this was by far the strangest experience I've had. The stylist was nice, but maybe she was trying to end her day?

I had balayage coloring by Sabrina and she did an amazing job! The coloring is perfectly done and she did exactly what we previously discussed. This is definitely the prettiest my hair color has ever been. Sabrina is very easy to talk to and super nice as well. The salon itself is very nice and charming. Additionally, I appreciate that she wore a mask without any hesitation since I mentioned I'm immune suppressed. I highly recommend Sabrina and Shear Headcase Hair Salon!

The day I stopped by the salon, only Sabrina was there. However, she was certainly the welcoming sort - friendly without being intrusive. My hair is not easy to work with - it is v. grey and v. straight. Worse, since Covid I had fallen into the nasty habit of chopping on it myself. Sabrina was game. As it was my first visit, a certain amount of razz-ma-tazz was in order. She anointed my hair with a number of different products, but explained what each one was for. In no way did she pressure me to purchase any extras. I liked that almost as much as the haircut - which at $75 was probably par for the course here lately. Bottom line: I liked the salon, I liked Sabrina, and I most certainly liked the haircut. I will be returning.
