They often will send a text saying that a prescription is ready and then after showing up, they will often tell you that the prescription is not filled and it will take 30-45 minutes. Wait times are insane. However, it is close to home so we have no real other choice except to drive way out of the way.

Disappointing In-Store Experience at Bee Cave Parkway Location
Date of Visit: June 8, 2025
Time: Around 12 PM Central
Store Location: Bee Cave Parkway, Walgreens
I visited the store to purchase batteries after confirming a lower price online at Walgreens.com. At the register, I pointed out the price difference to the cashier, who acknowledged it and said he needed a manager to approve the adjustment.
When the manager arrived—a bald gentleman in his 50s—he was unnecessarily rude and intimidating. While I understand if the store policy doesn’t allow a price match, the refusal could have been communicated in a more respectful and professional manner.
I even suggested I could place a store pickup order right then and there to get the online price, to which he curtly responded, “Go do that.” That level of customer service was disappointing.
Ultimately, I left the store and ordered the same batteries on Amazon.com, receiving them the same day at an even lower price.
In an age where brick-and-mortar stores are facing fierce competition from online retailers, customer service should be a key differentiator. Interactions like this only push customers away. I hope this feedback helps improve staff training and customer handling moving forward.

Holding time on the phone waiting for a person to answer is unacceptably long. It is not clear if any one would ever answer if you keep waiting on hold. I ended up calling HEB pharmacy.

They are always understaffed, they rarely answer the phone and usually if they do then when they put you on hold, it goes back to the on hold music then it sounds like they pick up and then hang up and it goes right back to the on hold music several times. If you’re extremely lucky, they may eventually answer again and you have to start all over. If they don’t answer you have to physically go in the store. This
a awful pharmacy. And even if you go in the store and they say they will get the prescription you asked for that day at a later time and then you call back the next day and they still don’t have it ready.

Their hours are not correct. They close from 1:30 to 2pm, and the only place you'll find this info is on a post-it once you get hwre

Tried to drop off a package at the Fed Ex counter. The gentleman that waited on me was borderline hostile about accepting my package. I said I was sorry he was in a bad mood and no big deal if he couldn’t accept my package to be returned to sender. I wanted to be angry at him for treating me so rudely but the I just felt sorry for him that he was so miserable. I simply bid him a good day and left. He couldn’t even look at me. Makes me wonder if he’s in the right job where he needs to deal with the public. I won’t go there again because I don’t deserve to be treated that way.

Horrible pharmacy! I wish I could leave no stars! The unfortunate thing is that with my insurance I am required to use Walgreens for my 90 day scripts. Today my wife picked up several prescriptions for me and paid $176.13 for a generic script. She asked if it was ran through insurance and was told it was and a coupon was also used due to the cost. This was not the case as they never ran it through my insurance so nothing was applied. When I called to ask about the price I was informed it could be brought back but had to be in the next ten minutes to void and then run through insurance. Well the issue is that my wife couldn’t return in the ten minute time frame. Poor customer service! Even using Good RX the cost would only be $35.00. My insurance cost would have been $20.00 if they had actually applied it. So tired of bad customer service and incompetence!

This is literally the worst pharmacy customer service I have ever had. I have tried several times and not one good experience not one time

This is the absolute worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. And I travel to dozens of pharmacies in the Austin area. Glibly slow and unproductive. This is my hell waiting here for them to not have anything ready for urgent hospice needs. I am embarrassed and ashamed for the staff.

Be prepared to wait minimum 20 mins for someone to answer the phone in the pharmacy. The staff is overwhelmed and in turn rude and hard to deal with.

The pharmacy staff are excellent. However, the remained of the store is less than stellar. Prices are not reasonable unless you are enrolled in the discount program. I have had issues with photo quality and there can be long lines with only one employee checking out.

Truly the rudest and most incompetent people I've ever met. They could care less about your lifesaving medicine or your feelings. These people are useless.
