If I could give this bank 0 stars I certainly would. First of all, the Wells Fargo Institution and system in general is the absolute WORST. They are the most blatant example of corrupt corporate power ever, and they could care less about the people that bank with them. They don't treat you as a person AT ALL. And, some locations are worse than others. It just so happens that the manager at the Bee Cave/Galleria branch is the most unhelpful, egotistical j*** I've had the misfortune of having to deal with. His name is Nick. And, the only other person that is supposedly able to help you is his supervisor who doesn't even answer her own phone. She has an assistant that she shares with two other bankers, and it takes the assistant several days to even return your phone call. God forbid, you actually miss her call, because then you have to start the whole process over again. From day one of signing up with this stupid bank I've had nothing but annoying issues. To begin with, they put me on "Opportunity Checking" since I owed another bank money. NEVER have I had to be put on any such account with any other bank. When you are put on this 'opportunity checking' you are treated like a second-class citizen and are imposed limitations of all kinds that are practically impossible to deal with in the real world. So, you just want to pull your hair out. Don't even try to talk your way around ANY of these limitations. They could care less that you are a real person with real needs. You won't get anywhere trying to use the "human" angle. Pointless. In addition to this, it took me practically 6 months to ever receive my actual, permanent bank card. I had to keep going into the branch to have them issue me temporary cards every month (since each expires after 30 days), because all the many times they "mailed" me out my permanent card I never once received it. They finally had to request that it be mailed to them, so finally around the 6 month mark I finally had my permanent card. But, by having it mailed to them they had to enter in their address for my card, which affected my temporary card as well. So, when trying to make purchases and transactions online where it required you putting in your billing address/zip code the transactions would be declined due to there being two different addresses/zip codes associated with the card. Soooo, I would have to call the bank to have this all sorted out so that I could actually use my card. This actually happened to me twice. Just one more unnecessary annoyance that no one should have to deal with. Needless to say, I lost my temper or was close to losing my temper multiples times with this bank. Finally, around the 9 month mark, which was about two weeks ago I really lost it with the supervisor I had asked to speak with over the phone. I told her had my car not been in the shop I would have already withdrawn my money and closed this account and re-opened my credit-union account. She said "don't bother-we'll close it for you" and hung up on me. They immediately cut off my access to my debit card, my online banking, and everything else. I had about $500 in my account that I now had NO access to, and the first of the month was quickly approaching. No matter how many times I tried to get someone to talk to me and be straight with me I was given the run-around. Finally they told me they mailed me a cashier's check and that I should receive it within a few days. Well, now 10 DAYS LATER I still don't have my money. I just found a Wells Fargo Corporate number to call, and the woman is trying to help me. It turns out that they never actually did mail me out a cashier's check. So, everyone at that branch has apparently been lying to me, including Nick the branch manager. Everyone else was probably going off his false information. So, you can see he is a piece of work. I am going to make sure he is reprimanded at the very least. Not su
