Picked up our baked potato "fix." We do this every month or so & have never been disappointed.

This place is a favorite of my family! My dad has been going here for 35 years! Absolutely the best place. It's family owned and run and truly a place that cares about their food and customers.

Took food to go. The ribs were delicious. Also had the jalapeño sausage. Usually jalapeño sausage has cheese and this one did not and yet it was still super moist. I really liked the barbecues sauce because it wasn't sweet and was just flavorful. We did not try the sides but they were not that entertaining looking. They were super nice serving us too! Finally the pecan pie filling was delicious but the crust was a bit hard.

Bad food, bad atmosphere (no ac), high prices. Turkey is pressed meat (pink slime) and BBQ sauce is lousy and tasted more like gravy. The old good ratings for this place should not have been kept when ownership changed.

So, I recently tried out this barbecue spot that's been getting mixed reviews. As a native Texan, I have my barbecue standards, but I wanted to give it a fair shot.Walking in, you head up to the counter to place your order. There's a tip jar, just in case you're feeling generous. I opted for a combo plate with two meats, two sides, and some bread, which came out to $16.89. The portions were definitely generous, making it a good deal in my book. Now, let's get to the meaty details. The brisket was a bit on the dry side, but a little BBQ sauce helped salvage it. The sausages were tasty but slightly overcooked. On the side front, the potato salad was a winner, while the cole slaw didn't quite hit the mark.In conclusion, this place offers decent and affordable barbecue. It might not be the best you've ever had, but it's certainly not bad either. If you happen to be passing through Bellaire and want a satisfactory BBQ fix, it's worth a visit.

The brisket was moist but lacked flavor. The pork ribs were very flavorful but a little on the tough side for me.I would probably give them another shot.

After a quick mention from a co-worker down the street for a lunch spot, decided to drive over and give them a try. I have to say that you do get a good amount of food for the price, but that's literally the only positive of the restaurant. Sorry, but nothing on my place was worth any good mention and the brisket was very dry which is a HUGE no-go for me no matter where I go.

The brisket is good, love the crispy ends., The sauce is not that good, which is why i give it 4 stars, about $20 for 2 meat 2sides and drink which is average price, I recommend.

Not sure what people are thinking in giving this place 5 stars. Honestly, it was the worst restaurant I've ever been to (not just BBQ).

Ribs had a good smoke but lacked on the seasoning. BBQ sauce was a little too vinegary and too watery for me. I like my BBQ sauce when it adheres to the meat. Just personal taste. BBQ chopped beef sandwich had too big of pieces of BBQ. I like my chop BBQ really chopped. Another personal preference.
