“I am absolutely delighted to share my positive experience at the store. Having noticed it for a while, I finally decided to visit, and the experience was truly exceptional. Matthew was incredibly attentive and provided helpful feedback, checking in on me regularly and suggesting items. I had admired some vintage earrings during my first visit but didn't purchase them. Returning the following week, I was able to acquire them and continued with my day. A few weeks later, I returned, and Matthew remembered me and all the items I had previously purchased. I was deeply touched by his attentiveness, which made me eager to return again and again. I concur with the observations of others that it truly feels like having a personal shopper.”

“A nice high end boutique store for previously loved designer items (YSL, Prada, Louis V, Bottega, Louboutin, Jimmy Choo, etc). A treasure trove for anyone looking for unique pieces, and they have an incredible collection of fashion. The staff were welcoming and friendly.”

“I went there to pick up an Amazon package, but was pleasantly surprised. The unusual art items in this store were great... Some of which I plan on returning to purchase. A few are a little pricey, but they are one of a kind pieces done by local artists!”

“Excellent service and selection; especially N scale! Doug was super friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommend! The gentleman behind the counter did put off a bit of the curmudgeon vibe, but don't let that deter you! (He might have been a little gruff because we came in at the last minute and stayed past closing!)I think the majority of negative reviews are from disgruntled parents of very small children who assume this is like a generalized toy store. It's a specialty shop with lots of small, delicate and often quite expensive items. Some kiddos are good in that scenario, but many may be too young to appreciate the environment.”

“We hosted a Community Arts Mixer here and it was fantastic! Our previous venue had to cancel on us so we scrambled to find a new place. I got into contact with Ruby at Wonderlikewander and she went above and beyond to accommodate everything we needed for our event. All of this within 24 hours! This is a great space for community events, meetings, parties, shows. It's got a great local, community feel and the owners are so enthusiastic and dedicated to helping you put on your event. Great space for events!”

“I love just walking into Cheeky Vintage--it is fun, cheerful and colorful -- just like its owner, Tina! I could spend hours going through the racks of her carefully chosen, one-of-a-kind, beautiful vintage pieces. I probably have purchased a dozen dresses from Cheeky and treasure every one of them!”

“Ok I’m a Millenial and I absolutely LOVED this Thrift Shop!!! You can find so many vintage brands. I especially loved the Ed Hardy, Juicy Couture, and Coach! They also have lots of fun graphic tshirts with throwback bands and cartoons! It’s like reliving your childhood/teen years! It will literally make your soul so happy! I loved that they had a $5 T-shirt rack! We scored lots of cute tees there. They also have a mini kid section! It’s 95% geared towards teens and adults but the mini kid section does have some fun finds! I also love how they give out popsicles and ice cream sandwiches for free while you shop! Honestly, 10/10 must visit thrift shop!!! Great for all ages, but a must if you are a millenial like me! @thathoustonmom”

“Edit : results were a bit better than I thought and I came back to consign more. Met a nice woman in charge and left feeling better second time.

Original : Shop if you like fancy and organized. Avoid for consignment. I thought it might be a good place for placing the more valuable stuff of my mother's but after reading the rules over and over (remember - they are doing you a favor) after fighting to get an appointment because they are so busy (didn't seem like it when I got there) after filling out the forms fully, I drove through traffic to get there and some of the stuff was not acceptable. None of it was catalogued like on the sheet and basically I just went through a lot of detailed hassle to donate the small art pieces and maybe the bigger will be tracked but I didn't get the feeling. I doubt they will even label them as mine. They have rules that they can just lowball it in value and consider it a donation. Will they value higher end figurines? I will be surprised if anything gets to my mom. My advice is - don't consign here: they don't need it and it's easier just to donate to your local Goodwill. This organization has been spoiled by easy money.”

“I never expected a Consignment/Resale store to have high end designer brands. But I found this Roche Bobois sofa and chaise at an amazing price. My entire living room is from Alabama Furniture, and I will definitely shop there again.”

“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games. You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”

“Resilient is genuinely my favorite vintage shop in the Houston area. I’m newer to vintage shopping, but I’ve been thrifting for years. I found resilient through the Instagram and came to check out the store yesterday. They had a great selection of vintage clothes that were more my style than other places and reasonably priced in my opinion. Resilient flea and the resilient store should be a Houston household name for all things vintage. Also Gerardo the owner was super nice and helpful!”

“Best resale off Westheimer. I've been shopping here for over 15 years and never have I ever been disappointed. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant. The sales staff are friendly and helpful. The manager is awesome!!!! The selections are for women. All sizes, name brands and good quality clothing , shoes, belts, hats, scarfs and more. Prices are from a $1 and up. I'd say very respectable for the quality and selections. I totally recommend this store to anyone looking to spend less $ and look like a million bucks!!”

“This is a cute, vintage apparel store on Emancipation. There are lots of windows and super high ceilings so it's bright and airy. There are mostly t-shirts but also some sports wear and denim. I love the old-school albums along the wall.”

“I purched 2 excellent quality recliners by lazy-boy & Kravet furniture upholstery. I also found the perfect table to place between them. Being that the chairs are antique recliners from the 70's, I've decided to go with a retro theme in my living area. Shag rug and lave lamps, with a couple bean bags. I'm mounting a projector and installing a projector and surround sound. I can't wait for 70's themed movie parties!!! I love my new chairs! Such a great quality, for a very reasonable cost.”
