“I don't understand all the criticism this place is getting for being geared to an "older crowd"... As a college student, I kind of love it for that exact reason. No issues finding things in my size, or rushing past others with the same exact taste to grab things. The clothing is high quality and super funky, and while some things are definitely far beyond my price range, a lot of their stuff is reasonable. I could spend hours at this place and still want to come back the next week. 10/10 resale shop!”

“Huge selection of shoes and clothes for sale. They have lots of size options in the shoes and they have some stuff that you don't see everyday. Pricing seems fair but they didn't have anything I was looking for in my size. They were helpful and made suggestions on other things they had in my size. Overall a good shop to hit if you are looking for something specific.”

“I found WHAM while driving to the GW on the I-10. I've been there twice now, and found some interesting items. Their prices are fair and they have a constant rotation of goods and 50% off sales on different categories. Cashier and staff are very nice. The only thing I wish they'd do was open a dressing room, since you can't try on clothes and all sales are final. However, for $4 for a shirt or sweater or pants, you can't really complain too much. Their clothing does seem rather boutique and you can find some brand name clothes for a steal. They have a large selection of books ($1.50-$3) and smaller selection of CDs ($1.50), DVDs, and some games.You can also donate and feel like you know where the money is going.”

“This is a cute, vintage apparel store on Emancipation. There are lots of windows and super high ceilings so it's bright and airy. There are mostly t-shirts but also some sports wear and denim. I love the old-school albums along the wall.”

“Wonderful high-quality home furnishings, around 20-40 years old, give or take a few exceptions, and not at all a collection of old junk needing to be completely overhauled! Helpful, kindly service, with the option of having them deliver. We bought a beautiful Henredon linen press designed I believe in the late 1980s. We have a matching Henredon chest on chest dating from the same era. Prices seem reasonable and if you value beautiful pieces of home decor and are sick of minimalism and industrial chic, this is a great place to start hunting!”
