I had shirts to be pressed and next day I took pants to be altered I requested for the pants to be placed with the shirts and I would pick them up on Friday. I was told they always put the clothes together and it wouodnt be an issue. I was going out of town and when I got out of town I realized my pants was not woth the order when I picked up my cleaning I was told I didnt have anything else this was all I had. I called after I reached my destination and the lady answered phone stated my clothes should have been put together she did not apologize or cared and stated they made a mistake and she hung up on me while I was still talking. Need customer service training. Girl today Jan 16 2026 around 3:00 pm who ever was working j g was very rude

They repaired a blouse for me. I couldn’t tell where the hole was after the repair. Nice job to the seamstress.

Took4 pair of pants for altering the waist and hem. I can’t believe HOW incredible they are! Can’t even tell where she did the work! 100% recommend!!!!

My mom had dropped off a leather shirt of mine to be dry cleaned at this cleaners. When it was picked up there was a pin through the shirt near the collar. I immediately took it out and saw there was pin holes left behind. When I brought it back for the damage, which the owner took responsibility for, it was dry cleaned again. When I went to pick it up, the holes were still visible so I asked what more could be done. The OWNER came out asking aggressively if it could still be worn. Regardless of its capability to be worn, my shirt was damaged. The owner began to become aggressive and as retaliation, I did as well. I was calm until she wouldn’t take responsibility for the damage, saying “Well you’re talking as if Im the one who did it.” Regardless of who did it, it’s still her business. All the while this was going on, it became a screaming match. She was very unprofessional, called me crazy for being upset with the damage. She gave me money for my shirt and then took my the shirt away. She stated she was buying the shirt from me. I was in disbelief. She should have paid for damages and given me the shirt. It was very unprofessional, aggressive, and a total nightmare. I do not recommend supporting this woman who cannot take responsibility for her company as well as calling a customer “crazy” for being upset.

Clothes were done perfectly, but price is twice the price as other cleanes with same but faster service.Lost my business after 2 visits that cost me $80.00 for jeans and shirts both times. I have never paid even half of that for same amount of clothing.Service: Clothes pressing

Star Cleaners is the best! Every single experience I have had here has been fantastic. They have always done a wonderful job when it comes to adjustments to my clothes and cleanings. Way better than any other experience I have had with any of the cleaner companies in Houston.

Not an honorable proprietor. Not recommended. Use at your own risk.I'm new to Bellville and was looking for a good laundry and cleaners, so I tried Star. These folks are VERY pricy but I thought it might be worth a chance for superior service. At first they did a nice job on my shirts. I also brought several pair of pants that I specifically asked to NOT DOUBLE CREASE because that had been a problem with other cleaners. They did well most of the time. But my casual pants were returned with a double crease with increasing frequency. Fortunately, my good slacks remained single creased. Though I used Star for about three months, the value I was hoping for just isn't there. They're no better than the $1.99 cleaner.The killer came one day when I inspected a shirt I picked up and it had a special tag stating the extra effort used on a stain. I then saw the offending stain dead center of the shirt on the button row. It was considerable. I knew there was no such stain before I took it in. I took the shirt back. Upon retrieval the second time, I met the owner who told me the stain could not be taken out.I inspect my shirts every day for just such spots and stains. We pretreat them and wash them at home to make sure any are completely gone before I take them in because cleaners are notorious for doing a fast wash, starch and press without looking. I don't want spots ironed in.I reiterated my process to the owner and explained there was no stain when I brought it in. She insisted it had to be and that she could do no more. She did not use the word but clearly implied I'm a liar. She insisted the stain looked like it was splashed on while eating or something. This was one or my better dress shirts and the owner would not even entertain the idea of making this right.Sorry for the lengthy review but I thought the back story was appropriate. Good luck.

Star Cleaners has taking care of my bedding and also my shirts and jeans very well. I've had no complaints and if there is a problem ever the owner Anna will take care of it. I highly recommend this cleaners and wouldn't bring my clothes or bedding anywhere else!
