Took dog in for his teeth cleaning, nails trimmed, bath, and Heartworm shot. I tried communicated at least 5 times about not doing his bath until the next IF he has to spend the night. Was told he had his bath after an hour of dropping him off, then when I tried explaining again that it should of happened IF he spent the night per the instructions when I dropped him off. Got 4 different stories from 4 different people, then finally they just said, “yea, yea, we will give him a bath tomorrow.” This seems to always be the case, one department doesn’t communicate with another. Then, it gets worse, his nails looks absolutely butchered, this really pissed me off, looked like they did his nails with a 3ft chainsaw. Come to find out, they have no buffer so they are ok with just chopping them up and giving your let back. Next, he never smells clean after they give him a bath, he should smell good, not like pond water. Then I noticed that when I went to pet him on his head, he squinched his eyes and pulled back like he had been hit. I called my wife over and showed her, this really pissed me off, he has never done that. Now to be fair, he did have two teeth pulled but that was on on pain meds and with the experiences I have been having there lately, I chalked it up to all the young kids running that place. I have never seen or heard of a manger or a person in charge over there and they sure do act like it. The reason I didn’t give them one star is because they are always available for service, though I am having second thoughts about continuing with them.

Do not take your pets here! I took my kitten Pumpkin in on 9/2/20 at 8:30am because he was breathing rapidly and not eating or drinking. This was my first ever time going to a vet clinic as I've never had a sick animal before and I was left in tears. The place is nice but the staff could care less about your animal and your situation. My kitten ended up needing surgery and I was offered to pay the whole cost upfront or euthanize. I was also told he had a 50/50 chance but most likely he would die because he was so small. I decided I would take him home because I have family who work at another vet in temple so I was going to take him there. They told me I could not take my cat home and that it would not be ok and he would be in constant pain and uncomfortable.They never mentioned monthly payments at all so I decided I would have to euthanize because I didnt have cash in hand. That's when an employee said they would take him and cover the surgery but I would need to surrender him. I stupidly did because they made me feel as if I had no other option. Got home and was still in tears the whole day. Called to check on him at 4:30pm and he still had not had surgery! But yet I was not aloud to take him home?! I called around and talked to alot of people and this bet never told me about care credit which I applied for and they could cover $725 of the expense. I called 9/3/20 at 9 am and asked about policy for surrenders and if I could get my cat back because I now had care credit. She told me she didnt know the policy and would have to call me back after talking to the dr. But that $725 would not cover it and that it must be paid in full. They never called me back! I scrapped up a couple hundred dollars and called back at 3pm they had me wiped from there system and told me that even though now I had the money to pay in full that I had already surrendered him and I could now no longer get him back at all. Keep your pets far away from this place! They dont care about your animals, they care about money! I'm just so glad that my kitty Pumpkin did get his surgery and is doing ok. I hope the employee who now has my kitten takes good care of him. He was a stray we took in and cleaned up and only got to keep him for a week. He had just gotten adjusted to the house, our kids, and our other cat. Pumpkin you will forever be loved and missed ??

I would not recommend this place . Person who answered the phone was very rude, was not willing to help us and put us on a very long hold. She did not even greet us or anything. If you don’t like your job simply don’t work there there no need to treat customers that way. ??♀️

Dr. Travis is the only one we see when our pets are ill. In the last 13 years he has taken care of them. Most of my pets are throw aways I have found on our Texas roads. One I found with parvovirus. He was just a few weeks old. Now he is a strong 4 year old. Dr Travis gave him the best care. Saved him. I can never thank him enough

I have three veterinarians within walking distance to my house, but I will drive 30 miles to see this Doctor for my animals.

Dr. Travis and his staff of doctors are my emergency clinic. I travel 90 miles one way to them when my regular vet Dr.Tom at West Animal Clinic is unavailable.That's how good they are.

Sometimes there is a long wait for walk ins and they need more parking but i totally trust the care my pet receives there. The staff is caring and friendly. They have gone out of their way to be sure everything is fine with Mia (my dog).....and have worked with me to keep her healthy even tho I am on a fixed income. I would not take her anywhere else.
