It’s been extremely difficult to get any results disputing unauthorized charges. On a scale from 1-10 Customer service requested for a phone follow up forget about it. Sad to say there are 3 unresolved issues June 2022 - August 2022.Tasteful and Unprofessional online reply or acknowledgment with transaction dispute department. Evaluation of department is overdue. Too bad I cant ask for the 1 star back. It’s been over a year and no bank manager or supervisor to follow up with customer complaints or support.

I was waiting in line before a lady came from the back and asked "What do you need?" My wife's card info was stolen and we needed to get new cards. We told her this, and was rudely asked: "Repeat that." When I did, she told me to wait until the teller was done servicing the person in front of me; and she walked away. Funny, I thought that's why I was waiting in line. After the person in front of me was done, the teller took us to an office to deal with the situation. We were told that because we opened the account in Georgetown, we couldn't get new cards at the Belton location because the "numbers were different than the Georgetown numbers," and that "this is only a sister location." Why call it First Texas Bank if I can't do account maintenance here? Why was I treated so rudely? We opened the account in Georgetown many years ago and moved to the Belton/Temple area. The teller was very kind to us, and tried to work it out; but we got nowhere. Long story short, the bankers here are extremely rude for no apparent reason. Also, why would you call yourself a First Texas Bank if you have completely different standards, supervisors, Presidents/Vice Presidents than the other location that shares the same name? They have lost our business--not because of the inconvenience of having to drive to Georgetown to sort this out--but because of their absolutely unwarranted rude behavior. The Georgetown First Texas Bank is much better than this one, so it's very disappointing that they have to lose customers because of their "sister location."

This is truly a great bank with heart! I think these days that's somewhat rare and hard to find.. I always feel valued and appreciated here... more than just a number - their interpersonal skills are top tier. Highly recommend for other people and businesses in the area

Horrible customer service. I came in to open an account for my disabled uncle and the person that was supposed to help me decided to take a lunch instead of helping me, I literally saw her get up from her desk, grab her purse and leave. We had to wait another half hour to be attended. One star is way over rated for this bank😡
