McCoy's Building Supply is a local supplier for lumber, building materials, roofing supplies, farm equipment, paints, tools, and other project needs. It serves DIY enthusiasts, farmers and ranchers, contractors, and business accounts. The store is noted for its incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and sincere staff who offer warm, friendly recognition to locals and frequent customers. Employees take time to listen and provide helpful feedback, often drawing from personal experience. Yard help is commended for carefully culling lumber for the straightest boards.
The business provides convenient online ordering and account management, with same or next day delivery available. They offer timely job site delivery, and in one instance provided free delivery when a big box store would not. Customers appreciate the loyalty program, military discount, and volume pricing for pros. While some note prices can be higher, many feel this reflects the higher quality of products and materials, stating it is better to buy top quality to do the job right the first time. The store is clean, and staff load vehicles for customers. Located in Belton, it is a convenient local alternative to driving to larger chain stores. The overall experience retains a valued small-town vibe, with staff frequently going above and beyond, creating customers for life.
Excellent customer service and carry a variety of outdated material for older home repairs.

I worked at a lumber yard for over 20 years. McCoy's reminds me of what it use to be like walking into a yard and everyone is helpful and knowledgeable. Shout out to the service desk the boys in the yard.
