I travel all over Texas, new mexico, and Oklahoma working in the oil business. Never have I seen such a tremendous price hike and gouging on groceries as I did today. The prices at this lil store are literally double. Prices are more expensive here then in Carlsbad and I thought i hated that place until now. I usually get off work and run to the local grocery cause with the short time we have to shower, eat, sleep, and go back to work. Food is the one luxury I really enjoy. I left the store feeling like I was robbed, swindled, hoodwinked. I hear from a local the mayor blocks any attempts of other chains coming into this town, can you day monopoly! I for one will prepare better next trip and stop in a bigger town who has fair prices.

Cashiers too busy flirting with customers to help and talk to the customers infront of them. Owner thinks it’s okay to snap and whistle at employees like they are animals. Found an entire case of moldy rotten rice on the shelf. Every package of chicken leas fluids out everywhere, don’t think you’re getting your moneys worth when the fluid leaks out all over floors and seats, so we’re paying for fluids not meat.

Buy your groceries before you get to Big Lake because the prices are HIGH and the selection is limited. The produce looks like it was old before it arrived. Don't look for any healthy options because they don't exist. The closest HEB is a 65 miles away.
