I wanted to share my experience at G&M auto repair. This morning my husband stopped to fuel up in Big Springs, TX traveling from Dallas to California and his truck decided not to start additionally my husband was traveling with our fur baby who is a 85 pound German Shepard mix. I was able to secure our own private towing but was faced after several calls to other shops that the earliest repair would be several days out. My husband was stranded with our fur baby which is usually not welcomed in hotels. I called G&M and after explaining our situation I finally got a positive response. G&M would start repairs as soon as the truck arrived to the shop not waiting. I was not offered any up front promises but was given HOPE. After a diagnostic was performed the problem identified and the part ordered, the technician at G&M worked through his lunch period and my husband was very impressed. Good service still does exist. My husband after a few hours was on the road again. Thank you for all that you do. Pricing and repair was exceptional. Highly recommend G&M is you need an emergency repair in Big Spring Texas. I traveled 99 miles after an Oil Change at Take 5 who left the Oil Cap OFF and G & M Auto made sure my engine was still good. They went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure it was SAFE and ROAD WORTHY at a VERY REASONABLE Price!!! I'm now a LIFETIME Customer. I can't thank them enough for going above and beyond !!!

We didn’t even use this shop to repair our car, but he was very nice and allowed me to take the time and call another tow. As well as was kind enough to allow my family to sit inside out of the heat while I wait for the tow provider. He even gave me a tip on who coop possibly repair my vehicle very speedily and that was the best tip of all. Thank you George for your kindness and understanding.
Based on listening to how he felt with customers and his own employees I can tell he is a great guy and will do his best to get you back rolling.
He really helped us get out of a bad nightmare day

Highly recommend!!! Brad was so helpful. He made everything possible to have my truck looked at and fixed while being booked with appointments and i was in town for work. Great customer service! If your vehicle breaks down when coming to Big Spring, these are the guys you call.

I definitely recommend this mechanic. I was having issues with an ac line leaking and I originally took it to another mechanic who tried to screw me over and was saying I needed my whole ac system replaced. But the mechanic at G&M was honest and found the leaking ac line and cost me significantly less than I was quoted at another place. Now my ac works better than it did before.Service: A/C installation & repair

On the first day of the January 2023 freezing rain storm I discovered that my heater core was plugged. Given that we were on our way back to Ontario, Canada this was a serious problem. George was able to take our truck in immediately and had us on the road in about 1 1/2 hours. He was a Godsend! We made it home safely (albeit 2 days late due to the icy roads!)Service: General repairs & maintenance

I came here after traveling through Dallas/Fort Worth during the ice storm from Tennessee for my move. I drove my truck in the ice for six hours and pushed her a bit too hard as ice had accumulated underneath my truck and was causing problems what I thought was a shot wheel bearing due to the ice. While driving over the ice, my “check engine” light came on. I decided to get off the road for the night and landed in Big Spring, TX. The next day I googled mechanics near the hotel I was staying at and this was the closest one to me and has great reviews! I agree with all the positive reviews! I called to get a price on an oil and transmission fluid change and I was told he wouldn't do oil over the phone. When I asked for clarification he said "No sweetheart. I won't give an oil quote over the phone. I have to see the vehicle." Needless to say, not taking my car to him.
