Purchased a chorded Hercules saw and beam cutter about 4 days ago and I simply couldn’t get it installed. Went through the directions, videos and even customer service, still nothing. I decided to head back to harbor freight yesterday morning to see if I could get some help, maybe someone else had gotten it figured out. Ryan was the manager that morning and went above and beyond trying to get this beam cutter installed. We finally figured out that the beam cutter was not going to work on the chorded saw. Ryan filed the return, and got me on another saw. I was finally able to get the beam cutter installed. There’s a ton of other stores like harbor freight, but it’s the customer service that does it for me. Ryan thanks for helping out a neighbor. I’m sure as the store opens, there’s a ton of paperwork and a million other things a manager’s gotta do, but Ryan made my issue a priority.

I have to say, the female in charge today is one of the rudest and unfriendly management staff I've ever encountered.
The online store has what I want and says the store I was passing (I'm just driving through Texas) had what I needed in stock. The photo of the product had the box appearing as if it also came with the cables necessary to connect it.
So when I stopped at the store, there was no indication on the box that it came with them. There was also a larger box with the exact same product (power inverter), same price, everything, next to the smaller ones. It was the SAME PRODUCT. So I took that one to the front counter and asked the young gentleman (he was very polite) if he could open it so I could see if it had the cables as well as looking at the back of the inverter. The ones on display are bolted down & you can't see the back of them. I wanted to see if the bolts were compatible with a set of cables I already have that have extremely tiny holes for the bolts. He informed me he wasn't authorized to open anything. What? Since when can an employee not open a BOX so the customer can SEE the product they're about to spend well over $150 on? Regardless, the woman came over and was very rude about it when I pulled the product up online and showed the photo and asked if she would please open the box so I could see. I was told unequivocally that she wasn't going to do that and the online photo was just for show.
I decided I didn't need the 2000W and went to get the 1500 W. That plus the cost of the cables was the same amount as just the 2000W. But they didn't have 3' cables. Only 6'. When I asked about the 3' she all but screamed at me that they didn't carry them, just the 6'.
Excuse me? Ok, so they also sell up to 4000W inverters in store. Anything over 3000W REQUIRES shorter (3') cables. So you're telling me that not only do the products not come with what is necessary to use them, you also don't even CARRY the accessory necessary to use the product??
If I have to go to another store to get what I need to use something I bought from you, why am I buying it from you?
Rude management. Misrepresentation of online products. Poor quality products (I finally read other reviews).
How is this company still in business?
