“Although we didn’t stay overnight, we stopped by for brunch one morning while visiting Abilene and wanted to explore the hotel because we’d heard about its spooky atmosphere. My partner and I love places with that kind of history and character. The breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated that visitors are welcome to walk through the lobby and take photos even if they’re not guests. I loved seeing all the historical photos that show how the hotel has evolved over the years. They’ve done a wonderful job preserving its history while keeping the property beautifully maintained. It definitely has the eerie, historic charm we were hoping to experience, and we’d love to come back.”

“When I first pulled up at this place I was very skeptical. Outside is really not so great looking. But the room inside was surprisingly on the high end. This place is hiding a nice little room with a comfy bed. Check out time is at 10:00 so mention that you want to stay later if you need 11:00”

“Nice room. Room is good size. Had hot water for my shower. I was on the top floor and thought I heard someone on the roof. I mentioned to the front desk and we decided that maybe Santa class forgot something up there and came back to get it. ?”

“Everyone likes to save money and live comfortable. And this is what you get when you stay here. The owners are very nice and accommodating. It doesn’t matter if you’re coming in at 1 o’clock in the morning or 3 o’clock If you call, they will answer and make sure to accommodate you.
Not only are they accommodating, but very understanding if any situations come about. I travel all 50 states on the pipeline industry, and always look for locations to lay my head comfortably not only did I get that, but it is conveniently located from everything and anything from washing clothes to shopping and finding something to eat.”

The property was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. My room was spotless, the common areas were tidy, and everything felt cared for with attention to detail. It’s clear that the owners take great pride in providing a quality experience.

I almost let some of the negative reviews discourage me from booking, but I’m very glad I didn’t. My experience was completely different from what some others described. I found the staff to be friendly, accommodating, and committed to ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.

“Clean Rooms, decent amenities, phenomenal ,professional ,kind ,and knowledgeable Staff . Nice breakfast selection . Only gave 4 stars on the room due to a broken window that was in need of repair after understanding there had been storm damage, and this location was on a waiting list for repairs from corporate .”
