If you’re looking for amazing customer service and real experience, I highly recommend this place. Called around a few different locations to get a quote on an alignment and out of all of them, this was the best price as well as friendliness over the phone. Took my truck in 2 hours after calling. Had a nice chat with Mike , he got the alignment spot on! True and honest work. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Will be going back

Mike, the owner has to be the kindest, most helpful, and most friendly mechanic I've ever come across.
Twice I've gone to Mid-Tex to have my truck worked on, and twice I've walked away feeling lucky to have ever been referred to them. The first time I brought my truck in, the mechanic jumped right in and gave me the run down of what my problem was and what it would take to fix. Over the course of work, Mike, the owner, even stepped up to work on my truck when the mechanic called out sick.
The second time, though, truly sealed the deal for me. As I was leaving on a 1,200 mile trip, one of my wheel wells started smoking, so I pulled over. A short phone call later, and Mike stopped by the truck stop just outside of town where I'd pulled off to take a look himself, before personally helping me get back on the road within a few hours back at the shop.
Even on the hottest days, with the hardest jobs, Mike keeps his shop churning out quality work with a smile on his face and a helpful mentality. And in all of the time that I'be spent at his shop, Mike has always treated every customer, every client, and every person as if they were a family friend.
I highly, highly recommend reaching out to them for any automotive needs.

Great service! Car window wouldn't roll up. Mike called around & found the parts for my 2014 van. They fixed my van on a Saturday. Very good communication for pricing & time. Very polite & helpful. Cleaned window & checked fluids as courteous included service. Recommend this place in Big Spring, TX close to bowling alley! Very Happy with service. Fast & Friendly!

Had car trouble today as I was returning home from San Antonio. A pulley failed causing the serpentine belt to come loose. Found Mid-Tex Automotive through Google maps, I took a chance with them as they had a good rating. The problem was diagnosed quickly and they were able to find the parts without delay. The repair was quick (about an hour for the problem I had) and the bill was very reasonable. Big kudos to Mike for excellent customer service. I don’t know if I will ever require Mid-Tex service again, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND their business.

Midtex is the only shop I’ll use in Big spring Tx, their team is incredibly professional while also being very personable and Respectful of their clients time, they are efficient, quick, and honest. Mike was very informative and we were kept informed about exactly what was happening, as well as being extremely kind throughout our entire experience. Genuinely trusting a shop is hard, but your vehicle is in the best hands at Midtex. So shout out to Mike and everyone else who helped along the way, the work done in this shop is worth the very reasonable price, and I couldn’t be happier with the quality of work done. First appointment, they agreed that I would drop off my car in the morning and pick it up before 5:00 pm because I told them I had a trip planned, they started working on it 4:45, I left the shop around 6:30 pm.
Second appointment, they agreed that I could come after work and they would replace my oxygen sensor while I wait. I called the day before to confirm, but this time, they wanted me to leave my car in the morning.
No bias, just reporting my experience.

I ran over a piece of tire on the interstate and my car started making some noise. I was able to make it to Big Spring and looked up some places online and found this spot. I pulled in and told the gentleman what happened. He helped me immediately and gave me a temporary solution until I get back to my destination to get my car fixed. The problem will require getting my insurance involved. He was extremely fair with pricing. If you live in Big Spring or just passing through on I-20 and need a repair shop...this is your place! Thanks again!

My son needed a new motor in his car and being new to Big Spring, I didn’t know where to go. I was told about Mid-Tex and I would recommend him for any job, big or small. He was very professional, efficient, and reasonably priced. He did a motor swap and my son has not had any problems with his car. Thank you
