I submitted my paperwork last year for my personal tax to be prepared for the first time with this CPA. Finally after waiting 6 weeks I contacted them and asked if they lost my paperwork, which they had no clue about my file. They finally got my taxes prepared a few days after i called. I cut them some slack being the first time even though once I asked some people afterwards they said it was typical for them, ie: they are the worst in town about getting your paperwork back to you.
I submitted this year and again I never got to speak to the account who would be preparing my taxes but instead had to leave it with the secretary. I told her about my LONG delay last year and her response was "Well, we'll do our best sir" and couldn't even give me a general idea when it would be completed (red flag). So finally after 19 days, I called and asked if it was completed and when they said no, I just told them I would pick my paperwork up that day and take my business somewhere else.
1) If you don't mind waiting months to get your return completed.
2) Enjoy lack of service or what service you get is lacking in anything personal.
3) and are ok with paying $150+ for all this... then by all means this place is perfect for you.
