Went in yesterday to get my hair cut. The older lady that's to the left charged me 40 dollars for an unfinished haircut. Not only did she miss my ears and the back of my head, she also went way to high. Very disappointed. Over charged for a trash haircut.

I went into the salon because I needed advice and to purchase product. No one greeted me. No one said they would be with me in a minute, even though the lady had seen me. I looked at products for awhile and still nothing. I stood at the counter, nothing. The lady was busy with a client but you can't ignore customers coming in. She looked at me a few times and did not even acknowledge me. I finally made eye contact, smiled, walked over and put my products back on the shelf, and walked out.

I booked online with our regular hairdresser, Cristina, for May 10th. Was notified by phone (before my appt) that morning that she was not in. I was given the option to book online with another stylist for another date/time as Cristina wouldn’t be back until Friday. I asked if Randy would be there the following day and was told yes. She (Elizabeth) who I was speaking with said, “Would you like me to give you his # so he can call you because he gets crazy about how he books.” I told her no, I would cancel with Cristina and check online to see if Randy was available for May 11th. He was. So I booked 2 appts, both for <10yr old cuts. Both of my sons have awards and graduation ceremonies May 12th so I needed them done before Cristina was available. I drove 40 minutes, checked out my sons early from school, get there about 10 minutes BEFORE my appt just to be told by Randy, “I don’t cut kids’ hair.” And was turned away! Before I was denied services, I asked if they could just get cuts from the next available and he said she’s booked the rest of the day. Mind you, Randy HAS IN FACT cut my boys’ hair in the past!!! I left, checked online for availability with the next available stylist and lo and behold Elizabeth had openings. I booked them AGAIN with her and called to make sure the appts would be honored. Called and spoke with her and she told me NO. She wouldn’t because she was already “double booked” and she leaves at 5. I booked online for 4:30 and 4:45. She said just because it shows online she has openings doesn’t actually mean she has openings. SO FRUSTRATING! I drove 40 minutes from my hometown and then drove another 40 minutes to Midland where my business wasn’t denied at another salon! WHAT IS THE POINT OF ONLINE APPOINTMENTS IF THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HONOR THEM OR DENY SERVICES DUE TO THE CUSTOMERS AGE???

So I booked an appointment for 9 am on April 6th. When they open, the young lady tells me that she is the only one there and she already has appointments. She doesn't know why the system let me make an appointment. I would have to wait for probably an hour or more before I can get in. I told her I couldn't wait. So she books me an appointment for Friday April 7th at 9:30. I come in today and check in. Another young lady comes up and ask if myself and another customer had checked in. We both said yes. She then proceeds to tell us that we would have to wait an hour to hour an half to get in because she had some walk-ins. I told her I had an appointment and she said I would still have to wait.I guess appointments don't mean anything. I am only home for a few days. I guess customer service is dead. Or if you aren't a regular or getting big money services you just don't count. All I want is a haircut before I travel to my son's wedding. Never again.

We have used this salon several times before, but today was our last.This cut was for my teenager. She did everything that I asked her NOT to do! We left and his hair over his ears are not the same. The length in the back is over an inch different from on side to the other. How am I supposed to fix this mess?Service: Haircut
