Took our dog to them she was not eating and losing weight. They took blood work told us she has temp of 103. However they couldn’t find anything wrong and sent her home. We took her to another vet today as she was getting worse and had lost another 9 pounds in the last week. New vet did sonogram and found a twisted spleen. Surgery tomorrow! Our dog could have died, but they seem more concerned about the money versus the pet. This is not our first episode with them however it will be our last.

We have dogs, cats and goats and have visited a couple of vets in the area. The dogs and cats have had straight forwards vax needs taken care of however it seems like if our goats got sick at all, they were going to die.
Then we found Dr Christina! She spent time with our goats diagnosing their issues and offered a clear plan for us to treat them with. I was honestly surprised when our girls fully recovered and are thriving just a week after their visit! The staff was friendly from scheduling through follow up after our visit.
I highly recommend this clinic. They know the animals and issues for this area and the clinic has a nice vibe.

We had taken my baby boy, Alastor, in for being lethargic. Turned out he had gotten Anemia due to fleas, and a blood transfusion was needed to save him. We couldn't afford it, so we had to euthanize him. Being infertile, Alastor was the baby I'm not able to have, to say it was heartbreaking would be a severe understatement. The staff at the Blanco Veterinary are some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet in their profession. The entire staff signed a condolence card for Alastor and sent it to us. The post office now have us sobbing on tape haha... Thank y'all for being so thoughtful, we never expected anything, let alone a card. We will cherish it.

I absolutely love Blanco Vet! I have been taking all of my animals here for over eight years now, and I can't recommend them enough! They are always helpful and willing to accommodate during an emergency and then very kindly considerate after the loss of a pet. They will go above and beyond for any animal, no matter the size.
