I have a tiny 800 square foot house and every month is around 200 with the brand new central ac and heat being the main draw on the power no lights there's no way I use that much electricity for my little house

If you don’t have to be under there service Tyranny, don’t. They’ll raise your monthly bill and you can’t do anything about it. This company must be ran by Democrats

I have been with this company for 8 years and I have to pay $200 per deposit to add one more contract. Where is my record story?

Customer service is great. Even when service has been interrupted due to weather, they are usually very prompt at restoring our services.

Power went out and was back on in 15 min. I live in Red River County. I spoke to Greta on the phone. Excellent customer service. Thank you to everyone. (Red River County....very close to the Oklahoma border)

Reliable service for a coop. Prices aren't competitive, but you don't have any options due to be in a coop zone. Customer service is friendly and responsive.

If first impressions are the key, they are NOT a good company, arrogant employees that do not care about simple things like answering their phone calls or returning calls to the over priced product. Consider producing your own electrical power, wind solar, storage, etc....it's the future.

I've had their service for the last 3.5 years. I have found their service to be 98% reliable (4 powerages 4.5 hrs total) during severe weather). Customer service personnel are excellent, we're very helpful when first moved here finding someone to shred my property (it was hay season). Their rates are very reasonable....average bill 100 month versus what was paying in Florida 400+ month. Can't say enough good things about these good people.

No one else services my area so I have no choice in electricity provider. They take complete advantage of that to screw their customers knowing we can’t go anywhere else. It’s just not right. If I ever move, I’ll make for darn sure it’s out from under them!

Lamar Electric Co-Op is pretty reliable out on Farm Rd 1502. Frequent switch off-then-on-again events makes me have to reset the electric (wall, microwave & alarm, etc.) clocks. Every now & then 1 to 4 hr outages, for what reasons I know not. But all in all, reliable. $25.⁰⁰ membership fee.
⚡ They use some kind of averaging algorithm to bill their customers. I take issue w/ their methods. I feel I'm often over-charged since I use my a/c so little.
💡 Customer interface personnel are always courteous & informative.
🔌 I get an email w/ my bill amount & pay electronically thru my bank. Very convenient.

HORRIBLE! It's unreal that this they trap people into using them. I can't wait until the day we are out of their grips! WORST COMPANY EVER!
