As an interior design professional, Catrina failed to provide the level of service, design advice/recommendations to meet the specific requirements for a dining room table set to fit a small/unique space. There where multiple delays (excuses) for not meeting the delivery timelines and nothing was delivered on scheduled as verbally promised.This was a 16 week process that resulted in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I'm still stuck with 6 floor model chairs and no dining room table, I even offered to pay a re-stock fee to return the unused chairs. Catrina would not budge, she gouged this Veteran for 6 'overpriced' floor model custom chairs.

I typically do not do public reviews but I had such an awful experience with this store I felt I should share. I spent a very large amount of money with this store and had the absolute worst customer service I have EVER had. I order dining room chairs from Catrinas and when I first called to check on my order they acted like I never placed an order with them. I had already made a deposit so thank goodness I had kept all the paperwork. Then when the chairs finally came in they were the wrong chairs. I was told they would have to go back through their paperwork to check but they believed these were my chairs. Again thank goodness I had the pictures from the company to prove what I had ordered. So once again they had to reorder. So when they finally came in they were the wrong leather and the tufting looked awful! Nothing like what I had ordered or was shown I would be getting. I asked if I could get my deposit back because they were not what I had ordered and I was told no that these were the chairs that I ordered and was getting. They corrected the tufting because it was so bad but told me the leather was what I was getting. I was told the leather differed from each hide. I get this but a totally different color has nothing to do with a hide. They even had a chair in the store that I said I wanted the exact leather and she assured me this is what they would look like. Even the sample leather piece was what I liked but not what I received . I will NEVER do business with them again. Now every time I look at my chairs I am almost sick because of what I spent and what they sold me. I will have to take them and get them recovered by a professional that will stand behind their work. Trust me when I say if I do a review it is worth the read and true to what is said. Stay away they don’t not stand behind what they say or their work. If I could give less than a 1 star I would!

Catrina is utterly brilliant. She is an artist, to say the least. As I described my vision, she sat at my table and sketched out furniture designs. Then, her team built some absolutely show-stopping pieces for me. My favorite might be the Chanda-fans, or the super plush doggie credenza that functions as a kennel and a sofa table. Her team is top notch, especially George. Very intelligent and creative group!

I love the atmosphere of there new location. They always accommodate my needs and love there staff. They have a wonderful selection of carry out items. Catrina did my whole house at Bent Tree Subdivision. She gave me a taste of Texas with a twist. Thank you Catrina for making my home a real Texas Home. I will be returning for future purchases.

Catrina, owner of Catrina’s, made our house a home! Catrina spent many hours getting to know us and our home. She invested time in understanding our taste and presented us with an elaborate book of suggestions on what she would do to transform our home in keeping with our vision and desires. Her suggestions were spot on! We ultimately purchased many of her recommendations and we are so glad we did! We chose pieces for our living room, dining room and bedroom. Each piece was carefully crafted and made to order. They are magnificent and will last a lifetime. We received much of our order prior to CoVid; however, other pieces were delayed as the supply chain was affected by the COVID fallout. Yes, we were concerned about our prepaid order, but with a little patience from us, Catrina made it right and it was worth the wait! It’s also important to note that I always appreciated Catrina’s personal touch and responsiveness. Catrina’s staff and delivery team were also excellent. The store staff were always friendly, kind and helpful and the delivery team was careful and conscientious. If you want great customer service, excellent interior design ideas and high quality items then we highly recommend Catrina’s.

I have been a frequent customer of Catrina's for the past decade and have always been treated respectfully, given free range without being hounded by sales staff, and gotten very good pricing whether I am buying by the roomful or just one piece to complete a room! The new location is great and I encourage anyone looking for something different than chain furniture store offerings to stop by and check it out!

The quality of what you get for the pricing is exceptional. It may take a little bit, but I would rather have quality than cheap, disposable furniture. If you can dream it, she can make it.
