“If you're a plant lover who also loves a good bargain, this is definitely your place! Made the drive up from San Antonio a little unsure based upon the reviews and I was so pleased. The property is deceptively large and has quite a few greenhouses to browse through. In one greenhouse I found some monster sized fiddle leaf figs, Bop, monstera etc for $40 or less. These plants were nearly as tall as me. Everything looks so healthy and well maintained. Although African violets are in the name, this place really has it all. And don't be fooled by the selection of violets- they are all inside one little house with an office. It seems small but there are plenty to choose from. On top of that, the owner has his office in this house and he just so happened to be sitting inside when we stopped by. You can tell this guy is passionate about his work. He gave us very detailed instructions on caring for African violets and how to use his wick system (also very easy). At the end of the day, I walked out with an African violet, a container for the wick method mentioned above, fertilizer and algicide for less than $30. What a steal!”
