This is an OG pet and feed store in Boerne, TX. At the onset, it looks like it might have been abandoned by the tenants, but that's not the case. Inside is a wonderful back-in-the-day pet shop. As you enter, there's no A/C, but a fan circulates the air, and it looks, feels, and smells nostalgic. A lovely employee was cleaning one of several pristine fish tanks and was very helpful. I don't have much occasion to visit a pet store, but I highly recommend this gem to anyone who does.

SHOP LOCAL! And I don't mean franchises that open local brick and mortar stores. Payton is the man! He's very knowledgeable and helpful with all kinds of animals. From dogs and cats to exotics, all the knowledge is just a few good questions away. On top of that, the prices are usually better than anywhere else local, and even better than online too.

Peyton and Blake are the most knowledgeable people in town when it comes to animals. I absolutely adore this pet shop! It's like a step back in time in the best possible way. The store's dogs, Persephone and Paloma are the sweetest dogs too. I go there sometimes just love on them. I get all my pet needs here. Highly recommend!!

Wonderful local pet shop with a great selection. Whether you're interested in reptiles fish or little fuzzy animals, this is the place to go. This is my number one choice for pets and pet supplies. And should be your go-to for all your pet related needs.

A pet store that does not allow dogs? We saw the signs that mentioned no dogs allowed so we didn't even go inside. From what we could see fromthe outside, place looks a bit run down.

I love Red Crest. Hayden is so knowledgeable about fish, and freely shares her knowledge. Although it is about an hour drive from us, when we are beginning to stock our large fish tank, we will go see Hayden for all of our needs!

Love this pet store. The dogs walking around are like the most gentle and kind polar bears laying around. So welcoming, love the small town feel. My daughter bought her pet snake there and we make the drive there faithfully for her live fuzzies. ? they are the only pet store that has them, everywhere else only offers frozen fuzzies ? . Best pet store ever!!!
