Tried calling to speak with the paint department. When I was connected representative answered the line "yeah?". I then asked if I reached the paint department and he said "unfortunately ". I thought he was joking so I laughed and said "did you just say unfortunately ?" He then responded angrily and highly annoyed "What can I help you with?". He sounded so angry that I told him never mind and disconnected the call. I will not be going to that paint department with someone like him working there. Scary.

Do not buy appliances from this store if you expect them to install them. Installation comes with the purchase and in both instances where I made the mistake of buying an appliance from them, the appliance was delivered but they refused to do the install. 2019 I bought a GE washer and base, the washer was delivered in a reasonable time frame but the base was on back-order. Since they didn't have the base they refused to install the washing machine. Fine, I get it, but 6 weeks later when the base arrived they still refused to install it because I had already put the washer in service. I was told to call customer service and have HD send one of their technicians out to do the install because if I installed it I would void the warranty. I called and they agreed to send a tech out in 2 weeks. When the tech arrived it was the same tech who refused to install anything on the previous two occasions and he again refused to do the install because it would 'void my warranty'. After conversations with the tech, HD customer service, and finally the store manager, I was told that I could install the base without voiding the warranty. When the tech left, he left my gate open which could have gone very badly as I have horses. 2024 I purchased a stove from the same store (Boerne location) and was told by the salesman not to take out the existing stove or they wouldn't haul it off. When they delivered my new stove they began taking out the old one and discovered that it was hard wired in and there was no plug. At this point they refused to do anything. I removed the wiring and they did, at least, haul the old stove off; but they still refused to install the new one. I get that they are not electricians so I said I would handle it... and was again told that this could void the warranty. Not only did they refuse to install the new stove, they refused to even bring it in the house... THEN they drove off, with my power cord for the new stove. I had to drive the 25 miles to HD to get the money for the cord refunded. If I had any other option that wasn't at least 50 miles away I wouldn't even consider buying another appliance from HD.

I used this stores third party contract services (FPN) for a flooring job. This was the worst experience I ever had dealing with a supposed professional contractor who messed up the original order and had wrong material for job delivered. Then the wait for the correct material required me to allow for a 14 hour window for delivery. As of this writing I am still waiting for material for the install which is tomorrow. I will never use Home Depot again for contractor services .

Sadly i needed a drain snake so i went to the one place i knew would have one. Walk in the door, make it to the plumbing section, start looking around casually, get stopped by an overly friendly gentleman that greeted me with the normal "can i help you find something?!?!" Wanting to take my time and wander around in peace, I politely declined and said no thanks im fine. Continue on down the isle, about 30ft later im greeted by the same greeting "can help you find something?!??"" (Albeit from a different employee) again politely declined. Maybe im being petty but at this point im honestly annoyed i can even make it down one isle without being repeatedly questioned. So i decide to go wander around a different section and ill swing back in a bit when hopefully those overly enthusiastic employees have moved on. Walk around the corner and im am yet again stopped and asked by a different employee if there is anything they can help me find. Apparently i need a sign that says ill ask for help when i need it, otherwise please leave me alone. Sorry to sound like a grumpy old man, but danm! 3 employees within 150ft and within 45 seconds is excessive! Long story not so short, i walked out without buying anything. I'll live with the clog until my drain snake arrives tomorrow from amazon.

I was greeted by Evan and his smile. He quickly found what I needed and was paged to take a department call. Evan said "I've got to take the call, but I will return when completed." Evan returned just as he said he would. Evan is definitely an asset to the Home Depot corporation and to customers who shop at the Boerne store. I will return because of Evan's great customer service experience.

I ordered a new refrigerator and dishwasher about 1.5 months ago. Absolutely terrible customer service. I bought new refrigerator and dishwasher. The refrigerator was delivered and installed crooked see pictures. The Dishwasher came "damaged" and so was not installed but they broke my old one removing it and did NOT cap off the drain line so I had sewer backing up In my cabinet. I called and reported and they said they would have a new one delivered the next Saturday. I called on Wednesday to check on delivery And they had not even ordered the replacement now going on second week no dishwasher. The manager has never called even though I called and left Messages. Clearly they don't care!

What are fiasco. I was charged the wrong price for some blades with big display. Had to go to customer service to get it fixed then walk them across the store to show the price was marked wrong. The picture I took that the cashier recommended I take wasn't proof enough. Customer service guy spent more time talking to his manager about the price problem while I'm waiting for my receipt. What a joke, didn't buy the parts after all. Got a refund. Customer service doesn't exist here.

I would give a zero if that option was available. I gave them a second chance, I had Home Depot install floors and that project was a debacle that took months to get remedied. Home Depot didn't actually perform the installation but, they are ultimately responsible for the entire project. They installed new countertops in my kitchen and bathroom and there were several issues with the product and the installation. Most of the issues still exist today. It's been over a year and the issues I've tried to get them to remedy are still not corrected. I've had several managers tell me that they will take care of the issues but that hasn't happened, just talk with zero action. I believe management thinks if they just ignore me, I'll go away. I've learned my lesson, I will never use Home Depot for any future projects. I will spend a little extra to have a professional company perform future projects
