Terrible service, do not recommend. I’ve always been rushed when it’s near close time—can never focus on my workout. In fact, Lucy, one of the employee’s called me and was very rude—she told me I could leave the gym if I wasn’t happy with the way they ran things. On one occasion, my daughters hand got stuck between the elevator doors under their supervision. Very disappointing experience after being a member for more than 2 years.

They have great exercise instructors along with a variety of classes for all levels. Always a clean, well run, well maintained circuit training area as well as plenty of machines for everyone.

I love the Zumba toning and kickboxing classes that Sylvia teaches. She makes it fun. Smiles all the time and changes it up so we get better workouts.

The Boerne YMCA is a GREAT place to stay in shape! Lots of cardio and strength equipment, friendly staff, numerous classes, and a clean and spacious facility! It's the best place in Boerne to stay healthy!

I love how helpful and friendly everyone is as soon as you walk in the door. I drop my kids off in the kid center and go workout. Great atmosphere, just needs a pool ;)

Staff is friendly, good amount of equipment and a good variety. Biggest issue is that I like to workout in the evening, and I normally come in an hour before they close. 20-30 minutes before closing, staff shuts down all treadmills/bikes that aren’t being used and will turn off the fans right in front of me as I’m still working out in front of them. I understand they want to leave as soon as they close but don’t make me feel like I’m bothering you when I’m working out during operating hours. Rude and inconsiderate.

I love the Y, I have met the most amazing people, done some things that I would never have thought I could possibly do (ie Mud Run), tried new things, gotten committed to more things and generally had fun!

I have been away from the Y for three years due to life getting in the way. I just started coming back two weeks ago and everyone especially Angie has welcomed me back with open arms and eager to help me any time I have a question or don't understand. My kids both love going there too.

Our kids attended the summer camp and had a field trip today to the Witte Museum (from Fair Oaks Elementary.) The bus didn’t have air conditioning and the kids sat in traffic for over an hour from 4-5Pm in the hot bus without water. The heat index was 110 today. They were told they couldn’t bring anything on the bus. This was a very dangerous situation and I am very disappointed with this summer camp. What should have been a fun day turned into a nightmare.
