Prices are nowhere near competitive versus Kroger and Albertsons. Selection is tiny compared to those two stores, as well. The “sale” prices only bring overpriced items near competitors’ prices. This chain will suffer greatly when the economy sags. Customer service will only go so far when people wise up and realize they are overpaying here.

Bought six NY strip steaks when they were on sale last month. Put in refrigerator for three days before I was able to vacuum seal the meat. Large brown spots appeared on two of them. That is not normal. Figured I would trim the brown spots from the remainder of each steak. Discovered browning in the middle of each of the two steaks. It ran the length of them on the inside. Very disappointed.

Bought potted plants that were beautiful. We always buy our groceries here. There fruit, vegetables, and meat are always fresh.

Bad service at night. They wouldn't let me buy fish. The fish was on display and he said "we don't have anyone here who knows how to do that." Do what? Pick up a fish and put it in a bag?

First time shopping at this Brookshire’s and man were we disappointed. Might as well have drove to Sherman to Walmart or Sam’s. Figured we try it out because it was closer. Prices are as expensive as Albertsons, a week’s worth of groceries almost $250. A handful of our items were expired.
Self-checkout was a joke.
Good selection but save your money and time.

THEY ARE HORRIBLE SINCE THEY TURNED INTO WALGREENS THEY HAVE NO COURTESY RESPECT AND THAT BLACK NON AMERICAN PHARMACIST THEY HAVE IS SO DISRESPECTFUL HE SHOULD NOT BE ON THE WALGREENS TEAM THEY WILL NOT ANSWER PHONES AND THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD AND NEVER PICKS BACK UP. THIS IS A DISGUSTING PHARMACY AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THAT BLACK PHARMACIST LEAVE OBVIOUSLY HE DOES NOT LIKE HIS JOB. ALL THIS OVER NOT GETTING THROUGH TO GIVE INFO ON INSURANCE THAT THEY EMAILED ME ABOUT AND TOLD ME TO CALL BUT YOU CANNOT GET THROUGH I WAITED OVER AN HOUR LAST NIGHT TO TRY AND GET MY MEDICATIONS FOR TODAY UPSET AND PISSED OFF WITH THEM AND YOU CANNOT GET THE CORPORATION TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT THIS STORE

We stopped in for a couple of items. We found some things on sale and walked out with 6 sacks of groceries. Nice store, sells gasoline also. They do take some other stores loyalty numbers since they are part of a larger group. Produce looked quite good. I would consider this a medium sized store. Displays were well done. I wish we had a store like this one close to our house!
