New to this post i wosh i could givw thwm a zero.. thwy are unprofessional ans couls care less tgat you have waitwd ovwr four hours im thw er.. that is not acceptable... wspecially whem they are all laughing and havong a good timw.. they have time to see patient's then..one nurse older short hair was extremely rude lady at front desk talked me into stay she was very nice and understood my concerns and didn't want me to leave in pain...but something seriously needs to be done with this er staffwent to er at 3:00 pm today finally got called back about 345 was put in triage and then forgotten about the new nurse on shift had no idea I was left in there for 3 hours.. because the nurse that triage me didnt tell anyone I was there.. this is the worst hospital I've ever been to.. the new nurse apologised and felt horrible but it wasnt her fault.. I will drive to amarillo or an urgent care before I ever step foot back in this place..

Worst hospital I’ve ever been to. Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional, they do not give results out on time and the doctors seem undereducated. Never going here again.

After the doctor invalidating my daughter's pain, I looked at him in the eye and said "I will go somewhere where they will take us seriously". So I went to her regular primary doctor's office at NorthWest medical group and they saved it! It's a sad fact when a doctor's clinic does WAY better emergency care than your local ER. They saved it! Natalia's doing much better and we have an appointment with her ENT tommorow morning.I ordered medical complaint forms to file a complaint to the Texas medical board on this doctor.

If I can give this 0 stars I would. This place is a big joke. They do not do their jobs in "emergency" care. The doctor pulled old outdated redneck mentality accusing my daughter of faking her pain. The whole staff here needs to be wither turned around or have some child psychology training.

If I could go lower I would. These people are poor excuses for medical professionals. Can’t keep decent doctors, their nurses are too busy on their phones, hospitality sucks. Dr. Tahtah or however you spell it poor excuse for a doctor he should have his degree taken. Once they realize you don’t have insurance or money to pay for your treatment they don’t give you the time of day anymore. They also like to try and judge like they are god and they could be nothing further from that. Awful hospital; needs to be more focused on interior and how they can better their nurses and doctors for this community’s well being, and stop being so focused on how the exterior of the hospital looks!

I typically don't leave reviews online, but I went in to the ER earlier this week, without going into details, I want to say a huge thank you to James, the ER director, he may have saved my life, by convincing me my situation was very serious and I need to get in the ambulance and go to Amarillo, had he not taken the time to explain how serious my situation was, I probably would have went home, and who knows what would have happened. Thank you so much James Fesser!!!

If I could, I'd give them ZERO stars. Their ER is an entire joke! My wife came in due to not being able to breathe. Instead of taking it seriously, the doctor just told her that she was fine and to go home. After leaving the room, we could hear him talking badly about us to one of his nurses. Saying something WAS in fact wrong with her tests, but he was going to send her home anyway. Absolutely ridiculous! Save your time/ money/ gas and just go to Amarillo. I wish I would've gotten a name so numbers can be called to make sure this man gets his consequences for this insanity!

I will be filing a complaint with the Texas health and human services about Golden plains community hospital. They are incompetent and have had way too many people pass away because they said they were okay and sent them home with no further testing or monitoring. This hospital is incompetent. I'm highly disappointed and heavily frightened for borger citizens. The fact that Borger hospital has had this happen multiple times it is an amazing wonder why they are still open or have not had a change in competent caring Doctors. Borger Golden plains community hospital is a disgrace to the community. And I apologize incredibly if this has happened to your family too. I would recommend avoiding this hospital at all cost and going to Pampa or amarillo hospital my Mimi had a stroke. She went to borger emergency room where they did a cat scan and told her "she did not have a stroke" and sent her home. She was still feeling off and not able to walk by herself very well So we took her to Pampa hospital. And they did an MRI and it showed she did infact have a stroke. I'm so glad we went to Pampa hospital. Borger hospital is sadly very incompetent as always. They've had too many cases of saying someone is okay and then them leaving/ being discharged and dying. It's sad. And worrisome for people who can't make it to Amarillo or pampa. I am looking into how to file a complaint against Golden plains community hospital to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She'll be in the hospital until Monday. She's doing better and is finally able to have moment in her hand And I was told she is walking today too. Due to the stroke she had nerve damage.

Worst hospital in the history of hospitals!! They don’t care about you and God forbid you have tattoos and go in there cause they’ll cause you of being a drug addict!! They killed my mother and made my dad wait in the waiting room while he was having a heart attack! Not to mention his blood pressure was at stroke level! These people make me sick!

From personal experience and that of friends and family, I can honestly say, that this hospital is not much more than a glorified band-aid station. Most recently, they botched a simple blood test for a family member, which would have required hospitalization, turns out he was fine. These negative google reviews are much-deserved.

my son is 2 weeks old and he went in for a bilirubin blood test and it took them over 3 days to send it over to my sons pediatrician that’s in amarillo and they some how messed up the test and his bilirubin was 22 when it wasn’t it was actually a 12 they should have called my son’s pediatrician immediately since it was supposedly 22 instead they just waited to give the results even tho a 22 bilirubin level is VERY dangerous for a newborn. if i could put zero stars i would

Absolutely despicable the way I was treated, I had went in for lower back pain and I could hardly move. Turns out it was kidney stones. I had to wait in the Er waiting room for over an hour and the staff were as about rude and disrespectful as they could be. I could barley move without bursting into tears and I told them I need to lay down in my car and she said as about as condescending as could be “you can’t go out to your car, but you can lay down on the floor” THE FLOOR PEOPLE in the Er. If I could give this a zero star rating I would. I’ve always had problems with the er whenever I go I try to avoid the er as much as possible and this experience only amplified my feelings about hospitals in general. Shame on the staff, I will do my damndest to avoid this place

My son visited the ER today and was treated so poorly that he was going to go lay in the car until he could be evaluated because he was in so much pain from KIDNEY stones! The ER waiting room staff informed my son that he could not go lay down in the car, but informed he could lay in the ER waiting room FLOOR!!! As a nurse myself, I find this horrifying. I’m planning on getting names and making calls. Everyone is accountable to someone else and this issue will be driven to the top. It’s unfortunate that I was not present, my son’s experience would have been markedly different…

This hospital is a JOKE!!!!!!! We showed up with my daughter struggling to breathe, there is nobody there to meet us at the window, after waiting FOREVERRRRRR, someone finally shows up with zero sense of urgency. We get out in a room, to only be told, we can wait 6-8 hours because the current doctor on duty doenst see kids. SO HOW ABOUT DON’T HIRE AN ER DOCTOR WHO DOESNT SEE CHILDREN!!!!!!! We then get a bill for $750, for what? You didn’t do anything…… you did literally nothing!!!!!!!! Just close this place down!!!!!!!!
