“Listen, I’ve had a crap day. My son is sick, my kids decided to argue with me every single chance they had this morning, I messed up my hand by turning my steering wheel “wrong”, and I have a headache. So this morning on my way back from dropping kids off at school, my car gave me that annoying tire pressure light.

Oh, look! You have 20 psi but it’s supposed to be at 35. Cool bro.
On the way home, I was like “I’m gonna find this leak before my husband and show him I know how to look for a nail in a tire” (on the account of this just happened 3 weeks ago and I couldn’t find the nail and my husband found it in SECONDS). Low and freaking behold, I didn’t have to look hard.
If only Waldo could be found this easily ?.

So, fast forward and I couldn’t get the tire off… by me I mean my friends dad (my husband was at work and I have places to be, so thankful he came to help).

Guess what?! He couldn’t get the tire off either. So with my energy drink in hand and an adrenaline rush of a lifetime, I drove my car into Boyd (with 19psi). I already get my oil changed at Kwik Kar, so I thought I’ll swing in there and see if they can help out.

I pulled up and said, “I have an odd request, can you loosen these bolts so I can change my tire?”
So, this young man called out his coworker… he might’ve been the manager, I have no clue. They pulled my car into the shop, and changed my tire. We all had a good laugh, the manager/coworker shared information about tires, he offered to let me keep my nail as a souvenir, we laughed some more, and he sent me on my way.

I suggest you use this place for your car needs… but not on the day I go, because it’s only 15 minute oil changes and that’s my favorite part.

“I did the self car wash, I dont know what the fuss is about in the reviews. It did the job and is local so I'm happy about it. I didn't have to drive 40 minutes there and back out of my way so that's a win in my opinion. I can't speak to the auto wash but I don't prefer those anyway, they tend to scratch in my opinion. I might give it a try another day. But my take away is I'm glad we have one here.”
