“Hidden Jewel in Lake Jackson. Live DJ spinning hip hop, R&B, zydeco, and line dance music. The drinks are reasonable and they also had good food. The artwork and photo booth add an atmosphere you would expect from a bigger city like Houston or Dallas.”

“Service was great..only thing is, for some reason there was imitation crab meat on my redfish...it was supposed to have crab on it. (that stuff is not crab nor acceptable on the Texas Gulf Coast).. Growing up on the Gulf Coast, I definitely know what real crab tastes like. We have a large family thats' roots go way back to this area so please, get real crab! (We used to sell it that and oysters back in the day) All the other food was good. Service was good other than forgetting to bring (some) of our drinks out. They were good though (bloody marys) once they arrived. Restroom was clean but one needed attention (not bad; just needed some attention)... Will continue support and talk with them later about it. Good folks Beautiful place (still) Update: Per: A "local favorite" we ARE locals...It was imitation crab meat topping on the redfish. "Au gratin" just means grating or with a crust. Please use REAL crab meat. . Thanks.”
