My husband & I wanted a slightly used recumbent exercise bike & had walked past 23 Fitness several times. Finally stopped in & am soooo glad we did! Ken & Tracy (the husband/wife team) were very helpful & knowledgeable in suggesting different machines AND were able to deliver it to our 3rd story room that we needed it put in!Absolutely wonderful people to work with—highly recommend if you’re looking for any kind of exercise equipment. If they don’t have it on hand, they can find it for you!

I’ve been wanting to stop by this store for awhile now and so glad I finally did! Awesome people and so helpful. If you are looking for any type of fitness equipment they can probably find it for you. I would highly recommend stopping there before buying fitness equipment anywhere else.

I called 23 Fitness to see if they repair Ellipticals; left a message and was pleasantly surprised I received a call back in a short time. Setup the day and Ken showed up on time and was so nice. Not only did Ken resolve my issue with the Elliptical he was a joy to talk to. I will use Ken for all future repairs or equipment questions. I would highly recommend Ken and 23 Fitness to anyone in Brenham or surrounding area. Was so nice to have a local business that I could support. Thank you Ken!!!

Was working with Ken and was strung along for over 2 weeks while he was finalizing equipment for me. He gave me a whole speech on his service and quality but when I was finally sent pictures of the equipment, it showed old outdated consoles and not what we had discussed. They were even different models than what we had discussed. I was in the process of opening my facility and waiting on him put a delay in our plans and promises to our clients. The only reason I’m giving two stars is because he refunded the money very quickly.

Drive in from Burton and get there an hour before close. There is a sign on the front door that if you need assistance to call a cell phone which I did twice. No answer. Front door is locked. What kind of business can afford to do that? Should’ve saved myself the trip I’ll just stick to Amazon.

I have been working out with Ken for a year. In that time I have thoroughly enjoyed my time and muscle gains. Ken is an amazing trainer and works multiple muscle groups simultaneously. We also bought a total gym which allows my husband and I to workout at home when I need too. Honest business who goes above and beyond in deliveries and service.

Awful experience working with 23 Fitness!! I bought a Woodway treadmill from them and he guaranteed it for 90 days. We tested it in the store and it worked fine. When we got it home, it only works intermittently. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn’t. We’ve had it for 5 weeks now and it hasn’t worked for the last 2 weeks. I repeatedly called him and texted him and he usually doesn’t answer. When he does, he blames it on me, that the treadmill doesn’t work. He talked me through wiggling some wires and then accuses me of breaking it!! Unbelievable. I have asked him to honor his 90 day guarantee. He asked me “How much did you pay me for the treadmill?” What does that matter?! I have asked him to send out a Woodway technician and he still hasn’t done it. There are many great used fitness equipment places. Be smart and spend your money somewhere else. This place is awful!!

Do not buy anything from this place. He sold us a 4500 dollar treadmill with a 90 day warranty. It had a short or something and in a month we have not been able to use it after using it 2 times. The guy kept avoiding us and giving us excuses, saying he was going to send someone then he did not.He stopped answering the phone and phone calls. I told him I would drive 2 hours back to return the treadmill and get my money back, he said "Do not threaten me???" We are having to have it serviced and fixed and he is not committing to pay the bill. Wow, time to report him to the better business bureau. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE.

I wish I could give a zero star review. We drove 2 hours to go pick up a treadmill. They were very nice until we got home and the treadmill acted like it had a short or something. The guy had told us we had a 90 day warranty since we paid 4500 dollars for the treadmill. He kept ignoring us and telling us how he has never sold a treadmill that had an issue. Well this one does and that is why warranties should be in place. He stopped replying, wouldn't take calls and now we are having to have a technician come out to fix it and he is not willing to pay the bill. WOW!! Save yourself some grief and do not do business with him. We will be contacting the Better business bureau.

I met with Ken yesterday to buy a rower I've been attempting to hunt down online for a month. After making arrangements with craigslist people who then flaked and rescinded offers, I contacted Ken and made the drive out from Austin. Not only did he have exactly what I was looking for, he had several different versions I was able to test out and I ended up going home with a model I preferred. 23 Fitness has a great selection of high-quality equipment, and Ken and his partner are that perfect mix of personable and professional. I found the prices to be very fair, the condition of the equipment stellar, and Ken very knowledgeable and accommodating. We are going through such a strange time right now -- if you need to get some more exercise at home and feel frustrated about back-orders and leery about contact with craigslist people, I highly recommend heading out to Brenham to get what you need. It is ABSOLUTELY worth the trip.
